Hello everyone and welcome if you're new here! Thank you so much for watching ❤️ I would love to know what your favourite/perfect creamy, milky, lactonic vanilla is - drop it in the comments below!
LOVED LOVED THESE 🥰🥰 you know I’m in the search for my perfect vanilla 😍 Love the way you described each perfume, it really gave me a good sense of how each perfume smelled in the opening and in the dry down, vanilla cake sounds like what I’m looking for. That sweet sweet vanilla with a touch of lactonic 😍😍 Definitely your guiding me in the right direction thank you so much for sharing all those beautiful Vanilla with us 🤗
I Love vanilla, it’s my favorite note ever. Your scent descriptions are so detailed and precise, Charlotte. I would like to own all of the perfumes you mentioned 😍 Thank you for the video, I enjoyed it so much 🤗
I am a victoria secret bare vanilla body mist wearer and I have been interested in other vanilla sweet scents, is this by any chance similar to it? I love love sweet gourmand cookie bakery warm scents, nothing fruity or floral, and I would have to blind buy this online so I would love to know if it’s really sweet and no too woody/musky and bitter thank you!
Unfortunately I don't remember how Bare smells like as I only smelled it in stores over a year ago now so I can't compare it (I do remember liking it though!). Personally I think the most warm sweet vanilla would be Vanille Absolu (some people do compare it to a baked cookie smell - I can definitely see that). It's definitely not floral - it has a touch of woods but I don't find it to be particularly woody. Vanilla Cake might even be sweeter but I think it smells more artificial.
@@CharlotteRossx thank you, I have been using vanille extreme for a couple of weeks and I’m in love with it super sweet and milky totally my signature smell your review made me buy it haha
I will forever have this voice in my head now when I smell fragrances... "But is it lactonic, milky, creamy?" I have yet to find THAT kind of scent... that satisfies what I WANT in a lactonic scent.... well yeah, I have a few that are creamy and milky yes, among other things... but i want like a milky milk scent.. LOL
Omg I’m legit obsessed with your “but is it lactonic” journey on this channel! Loved this video! But what vanilla fragrance do I need? I want something to add to Alien so it makes a homemade version of Essence Absolue. ✌🏽🧜🏻♂️♥️
I’ve been diving into vanillas also! I have a couple on my wish list. I recently bought the Nemat vanilla musk oil from Ulta after seeing it every time I check out (they’re on those checkout line stand). I have been using that as a base for SO many fragrances! I love it. I even used it as a base for Grand Soir, which I thought smelled to masculine for me, it made it so much more feminine and I fell in love with that combo. I sampled Sudpacific vanille banane and really like it! A bit like vanilla+ banana bread
Oooooh, vanilla and banana bread sounds so good to me! I am very intrigued. And I can totally see how a that vanilla musk oil would pair with Grand Soir and make it a bit more feminine - such a great layering combo. Thanks for sharing! 🤗❤️
I love lactonic fragrances and I have all the ones you mentioned…but my favourite must be Sweet vanilla from Montale which again doesn’t say lactonic but I can smell it just there. Thank you for the video. ❤️
I have had Vanilla Cake on my wish list. Love Vanilla my favourite being Orchidee Vanille Van Cleef and Arpels and Kayali Vanilla 28. I really would love to have a Comptoir Vanilla fragrance
I'm searching for a certain scent for 7 years now and I think you are getting close with these! I had this body spray by Hollister in 2015 that smelled sweet, creamy and a bit Amaretto like! it also had a fruitnote, I think apricot-ish. It was called 'Malibu beach' , it was an orange liquid and I NEVER found anything like it since then. The search is killing me 😫
Oh, interesting! It's annoying when that happens - you find a scent that just has that something special and can't find anything else quite like it... I hope you find it, Tessa. 😁
that’s interesting, because on notino (european cosmetic website) it’s available for literally 5,3€! Can you describe the scent a bit more, please? And how about the longevity?
Hi , omg you had my hopes up for a second! @@jozefhazel9902But the one on notino is called 'malibu' and not malibu beach and the liquid is not oranje. So I doubt its the same as in 2015 🥲 Cant find the notes of this new one. Mine had Marzipan and vanilla
Hi sweet Charl😍otte! I'm loving your new background!!!!!! You've got quite a few gems here love watching your videos because there's always something new to discover. I'm glad you talked about Sud Pacifique I've found a few great ones from this house including Vanille Abricot and Cool Tropic Turquoise (if you haven't tried it, try it ;-) it's very aquatic, fresh and super long-lasting, not sure if it's been discontinued though 💜💜
I hope you can find it! As I mentioned, I believe it's discontinued but I'm sure you can still find great gems online 😍 it's so nice! But you like to have those fresh fragrances. This is very unique though it's like minty, slightly camphorous , menthol-like and very long-lasting 💜💜
Yeeesss! Thank you for those suggestions, Nicole ❣️I actually just recently ordered and received a decant of lait concentré - very gourmand and lactonic condensed milk indeed 🥰 - and I really, really want to smell lait et biscuit! That one looks so good.
Favorite milky frag “This is her” Favorite vanilla of the moment “Kayali Vanilla 28” Maybe I should try layering them but they are both just so perfect on their own.
Hi Marie Josee! A cinnamon video is in the works 😘😉 So far I don't know that I have a straight cinnamon only perfume - but I will be on the lookout. I LOVE cinnamon. ❤️

Hi Sandro! Absolute Aphrodisiac is very good - I still need to experiment a bit with it over the winter but it's definitely one of my favourites by Initio and an excellent, rich Vanilla. 👌🏼
Thank you! I am currently obsessed with vanilla and have been exploring all of these on fragrantica and looking up prices/availability. Excited to hear all the info ❤️
I went through a bottle of Vanille Extreme yeaaaars ago and I just smelled like vanilla cake (people would ask me if I baked before coming to work). I wonder if my nose would pick up more notes now.
Oh, wow! Good to hear some real experience with Vanille Extreme! I can totally see how people might think you smell like baked goods 😂 it really is that literal gourmand kind of fragrance. Thanks for sharing. ❤️🤗
I need to get my nose on that Montale (vanilla apricot one; Sweet Vanilla) it's always sold out! Lol! Tried the CP ones and not my fave? Maybe it's because I dislike the format for the sample? Wish they did sprayers instead.
Yes, sweet vanilla is frequently sold out it seems (I'm on the email lists too 😂). And I also find it harder to judge a scent without a spray atomiser. 🥲 Have you tried a lot from the CSP line? I feel like there are so many out there.. I get overwhelmed, haha! I've been intrigued by Vanille Cafe, Vanilla Blackberry, and the new one that just came out Vanille Iconique.
@@CharlotteRossx there are a ton! I tried about 4 or 5 of them and did not enjoy them. It was right after I had CV though. All my normals still smelled the same but there is something in these that turned my nose away?

It’s interesting though because most of the reviews on fragrantica are very opposite of what I smell! I would love your thoughts if you get a sample! 🤍🤍
Well, I love Vanilla Woods by 7 virtues but it is a completely different take with a bold woodsy note the first 20 minutes or so. The vanilla comes in after smelling very natural and straightforward. This would not be a vanilla for everyone and it is more suited for cold weather.
