Bad Booking the point of a kicker is to have the luxury of not having to drive down field only kick down field. They wait until their offence puts all their effort in to get down field to go in position to get some kind of points. The kickers job is at the end of the drive go in and kick the ball. All those kicks wouldnt be happening if it werent for the offence taking them down field. They didnt need a touchdown they needed a field goal, they drove down field like they had to, sent in the kicker to do his job, score points when a drive ends, and he didnt do it.
