@@freddiestranger9783 But, why are you really sure that Jesus Christ is the son of God and why are you sure that people will suffer in hell if they don't believe in God?
Google Translation. I am Japanese. I will explain. People who meet for the first time are basically kind because they are recognized as "outside people" regardless of whether they are foreigners or Japanese. This is not because the other party is a foreigner. The same is basically true for Japanese people. However, once you belong to a company or school, you will be recognized as an "inner person" and the response will be strict. Honorifics will also disappear. Even in my company, some bosses often say, "Why don't you know this? How many years have you lived? How many years have you been in the company? Are you stupid?" The culture is different. I am a sailor of a ship called Barge in the harbor and bay. The wording is rough and the correspondence is rough. However, once a sense of companionship develops, it is often possible to have a fairly good relationship. Most of the Japanese people who appear on travel and TV are basically upstream or have a certain position, but people at the bottom and below the middle class have a rather rough temper compared to overseas. There are many people. It is an illusion that Japanese people are kind. To tell the truth, there are many people with a rather rough personality.
Yeah, why is everyone acting like this is a love story. I didn't know how to get water from a food court and a guy helped me and even asked my name. That's fucking all, no need to think that every circumstance in your life is a wattpad chapter.
I would have: A) Got really bad anxiety and left B) Hold my breath and potentially pass out C) Said thank you then cried about it in the parking lot It’s a lose lose lose situation y’all I’m done
Actually I’m not surprise. I traveled to Japan many times and the Japanese’s hospitality and thoughtfulness never ceases to amaze me. They are always willing lend their hands to help you. My favorite country and people.
It's absolutely normal in Japan. Having been to Japan, I know how great the work ethics of Japanese are. Japanese always go the extra mile when it comes to work.
Tbh I think he did so much to help you because he thought you were cute. Or because he saw you were a foreigner and didn’t know what you were doing, but I’m pretty positive it’s the former. What a wild ride!😂😂
@@hellurgoodbur8230 does it matter at this point, honestly? This video was almost a whole year ago and she hasn’t been to Japan since cus of COVID. It’s not like she’s still there and can pursue a relationship with him, so let her (and whoever else) believe what she wants😂
Customer service in Japan is freaking top notch!! I lived in Japan for years. I’ve always loved and respected Japan for the excellent costumer service! Hahaha, also I’m sure there’s many Japanese guys that would be just as nervous or more talking with a cute foreign girl!
Japanese workers are very nice they always help their costumers if they need even without asking for help❤, and you are not dumb this is your first time so it is normal that you don't know how it works:)
Jesus he nearly tripped over that cart to get to the machine lol 😂 Okay either he is VERY dedicated to his job, or he went out of his way to make sure HE was the one to help you 😏
This is commonplace in Japan. He's just doing his job. He helped you because the next person couldn't use the machine if you didn't finish early. But this is not the norm in the world. If you are in another country, no one will help you unless you ask for help. Japan's hospitality and customer service are the best in the world. and He is so cute☺️
Omg the entire time during that interaction all I could think was “why is this so me??” 😂 Like recently my friend and I went to the store to grab a few things. As we were heading to one of the registers to pay, this really cute cashier waved at us and gestured for us to go over to his. We were flustered but went over caused we didn’t want to seem awkward even tho we totally were. I was just trying to pay for my stuff without embarrassing myself lol, but he was actually really nice, and kept making conversation with us. My friend continued the convo really well, otherwise I would’ve killed it cause I’m so awkward around cute guys. We actually went back in right before closing, and my friend got his snap. So I guess it worked out. 😂
When you said ‘that’s not normal here’, actually it is! I got confused loads of times on those machines/ other stuff and literally each time someone did everything for me without me even asking!! Don’t worry guys everyone will help you in Japan!♡♡
Girl, I'm extreme shy person. When I meet strangers, I get really shy and I do a lot of clumsy things. I even talk alien like I can't spit out the words. I can't think and I just wish I die in that moment lol. You're not alone, I get you.
hi. I am Japanese. and it is very normal thing. not big deal. it is too early to be glad for these tiny episode. Japan has more a lot of big things to make you happy.
Honestly this guy is just doing his job. He's being nice cause he's in customer service. It also looked busy af so he flew in to help yo keep the flow going. This is pretty normal in Japan especially cause you're a foreigner. Everyone always hopes for a meetcute in Japan and I'm guilty of that shit when i first went. But they're just actually really nice. I've had dumber experiences, like forgetting my card in the store and the employees had to search for me in the streets... They're just like this is customer service there.
yeah I think so too. I am Japanese. and she said " that is not normal. that is not happen in here.". but its wrong. it is very normal. especially old people usually do not know how to use these machine.
I agree that he's just doing his job. However, maybe he went one step further for her because she's a foreigner. I heard Japanese people are extremely hospitable to people visiting their country to make sure they have a great experience (although I could be mistaken)
At a supermarket in my area, a female cashier, about the age of my mother, carries my heavy luggage. I'm sorry each time, but I decided to accept it because they were educated by the store's employer to do so. Excessive customer service in Japan often makes me uncomfortable even for Japanese. I learned that the solution is to accept ...
Ha! My experience with toilets in Japan... first time visiting (35 years ago) the “toilets” were oblong, porcelain, seatless, holes in the floor. Had to squat over them to pee; had trouble because as a western woman I wore pants. Pretty annoyed with my Japanese husband for not telling me what they looked like! Second visit I used the restroom at a gas station, western type toilet. Very clean. Everything was written in Japanese... so many buttons to push! I hit the emergency button thinking that was the flush... Five people came running to help me; Tetsu was laughing hysterically. Now most toilets are western style thankfully. And written in Japanese and English.
im south east asia we wash our butt after poop i can poop on squad and sit toilet.. saw this video about japanese mordern toilet.. i was like wow that so stupid and like nahh that is for lazy people.. but then i actually want to try it too.. their toilet have a cool automatic butt washer.
When my family and I flew overseas, we had a layover flight that stopped at Japan and I remembered that I needed to use the bathroom at the airport. My young self was really confused and thought all the bathrooms were "broken".
I've never been to Japan, but I noticed that Japanese have the most sincere manner Tigard strangers. They will go out of their way to help someone and are so so kind.
One of the cutest video I've ever seen in UA-cam!!! You and that Japanese guy are both cute....CUTENESS OVERLOAD!! I wanted to scream in the middle of the night 😍😍
I work at a grocery store in the states. We have a small self check out and we're very very busy. For older people or people who don't know what they are doing, or who are super slow ect, I will just take over. The reality is i just want to get them done faster. I hate having a long line. Our scales are touchy af too. So the faster you're done and with no problems the better for everyone.
I think he's just being polite (maybe because Japanese people are very helpful) maybe he saw you having a hard time and you're a foreigner so he helped you, although in our country, when guys are doing this, it's because they think you're cute. Idk we never know though maybe it's the other way around. 😉 But I love it when he moved the other cart out of your way, so you can walk comfortably. That was so sweet 💕
If you stock up on bread the best thing to do so it doesn't go bad is to put it in your freezer or deep freezer and lay out another loaf when your first loaf only has a few slices left. My family has always done this and it always works!!!!
lmao story time: this reminds me of when I was at home depot around two months ago. I was looking for fence posts with my sister and parents when they told me to ask the employees for help. I asked this woman, but she didn't have any knowledge in the outdoors department so she called over someone else. Turns out that person was taking forever to come so she waved over at a group of young guys who were also employees. They all started to walk over and I felt my heart sink oml imagine a group of 3 or 4 good looking, tall guys coming at you hsjsksh ok sorry, anyways I started explaining what I needed and I lowkey cracked under the pressure of their stares. But my mom didn't raise no fool so I pulled myself together and played it cool until they all started taking me over to the isle (keep in mind, I only needed one person to help me but they all tagged along lmao maybe they wanted to get out of work). In the middle of convo about which measurements I needed, the guys broke apart because they were soon called over to different customers who needed help. I'm only left with one guy who has dark hair, honeydew skin, and these pretty ass eyes (okay I'll stop lol) and I already started to feel my face burn. From the corner of my eye, I saw my family shopping at the other side of the store and I felt nauseous because my father doesn't let me talk to guys at all even if I'm nineteen. It would've been okay if we were just talking about the fence post, but the employee started asking how old I was and which college I went to, or how pretty my jacket was, so I started getting nervous because I didn't want my father to beat my ass once we got home lol. If you couldn't tell, he's hella strict to the point it's suffocating. Anyways, after he found the fence post, he pulled out the "so I'll see you tonight?" card and it killed me to play dumb and turn him down because of my father. He was so cute and ughhh idk if I go to home depot I'll see him again or not. But yeah end of story congratulations if you read it this far lmao I'm gonna go and cry now.
Reminds me of the time I had a crush on Japanese cashier. He worked at my favorite Japanese market. I think he went to the university nearby. Anyway, I went there to grab some of my favorite snacks, and rent a movie to practice my Japanese. (I would sometimes try to chat with the cashiers or compliment a lady on her adorable baby in Japanese, lol). Ran into him and was chatting with a lady in line. When I got to the register, he said "You're Japanese is very good." Me:"o...h. No, I'm still studying." Him: Haha. The other times I saw him, he would always just smile at me, and even went out of his way to help me find a item in the store, or teach me how to open a Ramune bottle (first time using it). I was too shy to do much though, and month or so later found out from a elderly lady who seemed very happy to hear me ask about him (?) that he has quit since he was going back to Japan. Opportunity lost? But, still cute interaction in this video.
To be honest this is very typical in Japan. Customers are often called and respected as Gods for people working in the service industry. The level of respect and effort they go through for other people is insane. I’m currently enrolled in a cooperative university program in Toronto Canada, and I was lucky enough to do one of my work-terms in Japan. A shocking thing I learned was that when you call clients over the phone, you must wait 5-10 seconds to ensure that you’re not hanging up before the client. It’s these things like that make Japanese workers so pleasant to deal with. So I think the kind cashier was just doing his duties 🙂 No hate though.
Really true, I recently moved to Japan and I also got help from a cashier to self-checkout at Uniqlo, the machine also had an English option so he really didn’t have to do it I would’ve eventually figure it out by myself but he still helped me out either way cause I guess I just looked lost lol. Anyways the service in japan is always really helpful, even if they don’t know English that well they will still go out or their way to help you as best as they can.

I find that everybody is extremely nice in Japan & very polite. It’s rare that one would encounter a rude experience. Japanese culture is amazing! 🇯🇵
Canadians be like
Wow a foreigner who still hasn't heard about 本音 and 建前 😂
Uhm, you should research better hahaha. Japan is more than polite culture. It's kind to foreigners tho

It's absolutely normal in Japan.
Having been to Japan, I know how great the work ethics of Japanese are. Japanese always go the extra mile when it comes to work.
true. nothing special. my mom loves japanese cashers, too.
Exactly. Also, helping people who have difficulties using the automatic checkouts is a way to avoid congestion in the store.
yeah it is very normal. because look at line behind her. lots of people waiting her finish.
clerk have to do that when he look at these lines.
Tbh I think he did so much to help you because he thought you were cute. Or because he saw you were a foreigner and didn’t know what you were doing, but I’m pretty positive it’s the former. What a wild ride!😂😂
Most probably because she is foreigner and they're really polite people.

Omg 😂 I'm glad I'm not the only one lol

@@高木正弘-e9z huh you're English is very good, seriously

Yeah we have people on standby at the self-checkouts to help you in the UK

Ur comment is 😂😂😂😂😂
Omg he's so handsome i would've passed out or passed away AND HE'S A GENTLEMEN 😭😭
But I love it when he moved the other cart out of your way, so you can walk comfortably. That was so sweet 💕
I love your everyday vlogs !!
If you stock up on bread the best thing to do so it doesn't go bad is to put it in your freezer or deep freezer and lay out another loaf when your first loaf only has a few slices left. My family has always done this and it always works!!!!
I would have to pass away after this. He’s so attractive and polite.
that sweet gesture would definitely make my heart flutter 😆🥰

same girl,same.
lmao story time: this reminds me of when I was at home depot around two months ago.
Lol I feel sorry for you
You should most definitely go back! Preferably without your father next time
Go back! IMMEDIATELY 💀

‘This kind young lad...’ he is really cute
My opinion is that he definitely not flirting but was more exasperated by the situation here, you can see in his eyes. xD
I mean, it's definitely a relative all around the world thing to be really helping and caring to customers.

So I think the kind cashier was just doing his duties 🙂
No hate though.
Yeah people are very polite in Japan. Well I haven’t been there very long, but everyone was so nice. :)
