Not much content out there on how to actually list clothing covering specifics like materials, fabric types, accents or even which category, could be a good time for one with all the changes Ebay just made. Keep up the good work man 👌
Cheers for that, I’ll see if I can make one in the near future!
I really admire your energy and dedication. You take the time to acknowledge the comments on here too which must be time consuming but demonstrates that you care. You’re open with advice and great tips. You deserve to go far. 🥇
Thank you! I always try and do what I can! I appreciate the support 🙏
I agree with everyone love your wisdom and knowledge on all these nice finds. I like how you jump straight to the point and don’t beat around the bush. I have been selling old vintage board games but thinking of putting my money on men’s items. Anyway Keep it up. Have a lovely weekend!
Thank you for the feedback!
Your channel is the best I've found on youtube so far. Super interesting person, to the point, no silly clickbait pics. Love your energy and knowledge of the products.
I'm getting made redundant in March next year and want to do a part time job to keep my CV in tact, and spend around 10 hours a week "paying the bills" as you say.
Would you give any advice to people starting out with little to no feedback on their ebay page? How do you start yourself off to build up that trust with buyers?
Mate I appreciate the feedback, truly blessed thank you!
I started with 0 feedback on my store and all I did was pick up items that I knew people wanted and made sure I got it out quick to them. People aren’t too picky about feedback if you have the only one of something 😂 it will take time but it just builds naturally!
Clothes wise, the stuff you buy has no appeal to me at all. Yet I LOVE your videos. Partly because of your charisma and partly because I learn SO much. You're brilliant at this!
Thank you! I really appreciate that! Clothes is definitely not everyone’s favourite thing but I feel like the advice can be translated to lots of different categories hopefully! Thanks again!
The commes de garçon top was GORGEOUS! Very jealous of that find!!
I couldn’t believe it was real!

Cheers mate, just keep powering through. Mines been up and down on weeks but on the whole things are getting better
You should check out Blackburn mate..."Rummage Rescuers" you can get T shirts/Polos for £1 and Jumpers for £2!

I’ve actually been there before! Absolute quality 🔥🔥 took me a good couple hours to get there though 😂
@@Chaddypete haha got 2 Mens Adidas Polos there the other day £1 each :D

Nice video Pete, I’ve had so many offers recently that then never pay and completely disappear! So annoying 😡 or they message like oh I got the Size wrong 🤔 yeah right!
It’s one thing that ebay are changing hopefully soon! Very frustrating though!! Thanks for watching!

Thank you so much for watching again! It’s all about the details!
More unique content again bud, awesome. Although your pictures look great. I keep hearing that the algorithm prefers a white background. Not just for Ebay, but for people searching for a product on Google. And from that search, being taken to Ebay. Cheers
Yes I have heard the same. My personal opinion on it is, if the items you are finding are in high demand and small supply, they still appear in google. If it be aimed enforced, I probably will do white background but at the minute it’s not affecting my sales. They could be better but I think it’s working for now. Cheers for watching!
Just found your channel from your wholesale do’s and don’ts video. Great stuff, keep it up!
It’s good to have you hear!! Thanks for watching! 🔥

@@Chaddypetecheers , i live sutton in ashfield area, no problem hoping i get some sales i picked things i d like to wear anyway , just in case, the safetys are brand new i'll keep you informed
I need help man. So recently I decided to niche down to selling clothes and clothes only, with maybe a few non clothing items from time to time but mainly clothes. It’s because I want something sustainable that I can scale and it’s much easier to do with if I can order stock in bulk instead of having to relying on finding individual items in charity shops etc like I’m currently having to as I’m selling anything and everything. I ordered some clothes to resell from vault vintage and it arrived today however I’m having trouble with pricing almost if it. My average cost of goods per item is around £8.63p which is a bit on the high side meaning it’ll be a bit harder to make my money back let alone a profit. I was hoping for an average cost per item price of no more than £5. I still think the items are profitable but only if I price the items correctly. The one thing I hate about selling clothes is the fact that it’s very hard to find specific clothes that match the clothes you have when you’re looking at comps. I like to verify what an item will sell for before buying it, but with clothing it’s very difficult because you get a lot of different clothing items worth various prices when you search for the brand and it’s rare for you ever see the same clothing item you’re looking for and even if you do, one or two sold comps aren’t enough to base your pricing on. Those people/that one person could have drastically underpriced it, accepted an offer so you don’t know what the item actually sold for, or could have sold it on auction which usually tends to be lower priced than a buy it now would get. I have no idea how to price clothing or gain the knowledge needed to make it work. Please help
Hi mate thanks for your message. The issue I see is you have tried to scale too quickly instead of picking individual items up at a low price.
I spend pretty much all of my time going to charity shops and car boots because that’s how you gain the knowledge and understand how to price clothing.
The best way to price is literally by finding something similar in regards to material, style, type of clothing. Find the highest price for example, a t shirt then look at the similarities. Ignore the auction prices as you will be using fixed price, so only compare with that.
@@Chaddypete thank you very much for your response. That was very helpful. I’m going to get through the vault lot I go, get as much as I can for it and do what you suggest. I’ll stick to charity shops and car boots and pick up individual items to gain knowledge slowly, then I’ll go back to buying bulk lots. Thanks again
I love your videos .
Thank you!!
Great video as usual 👍
Cheers mate!! Thanks for watching!
Hi, thought about selling clothes abroad but I only sell to the UK. Do you have a problem with returns from abroad like high return costs etc... Do you get many returns? Great contents as always!
The interesting thing about selling abroad, is the people who buy are normally 100% committed to the item and have checked it over thoroughly as they know they can't return it easily, so I hardly get any returns internationally. The only time I do is when I've made a big mistake on the description or I have sent out the wrong thing (happened once, never again!)
Hope this helps!
1000 quid sales but 1300 outlay ok.
My question is do u now get worried that it will go missing if you send it overseas that's my worry so I never list mine outside of the UK
You’re normally covered for the full price if you are willing to pay the extra bit! I’ve only had a couple things go missing but even then, they’ve normally been returned to sender
@@Chaddypete thanks bro
@@Chaddypete really appreciate it mate
How do you do international shipping do you use GSP or normal Royal Mail or any others like hermes
I use GSP but I also have the option of Royal Mail International.
quick question,, there was a jacket with a manchester untied badge on it, i passed i'm not into footy that much,, good condition, etc, whats your view on it does it sell more cos of the badge or less, ? cheers jamie
It just depends what else was on it. If it has something like Nike or Adidas it may have been good but it’s all about the style
@@Chaddypete thanks pete, i'm learning
@@Chaddypete started selling ukjam_aer2f just gonna post things , see how it goes
You shipping world wide ? I can’t do with the hassle so stick to uk only
Yes I ship all over!
Hi do you normally put a set price or do you leave it for bid?
I have a set price and leave it for a while!
Hey Pete. When you buy clothes and maybe they need ironed/cleaned etc what do you recommend so that you get the best images to help sales? Or do you picture them as they are?
Cheers!
Normally I only pick up clean items unless it’s really worth it. Before I list it I would stick it in with my other washing and then steam it!
😂 Not paid
😂😂 never gets any easier
