He'd be wrong again, but it will be the last from him
And it looks like a dimple lock, based on the circular indentations. We both know how much he destroys those.

Or you can go right in with an unlocked door or window. or just break the glass or kicking a door.
Locks just keep honest people out. Most lock smiths won't even waste their time picking locks these days, they just drill them out. Because they really have very little skill other than operating a drill. Then they can charge you for a new lock also.
Picking a lock is hard as fuck man. These videos are so fucking stupid. What they fail to show to audience is how much time they've spent practicing. The amount of patience needed for lockpicking is ridiculous. The best way to break into anything is always gonna be a pry bar. Nobody is gonna be a fucking virgin and pick locks to get in.

When you’re a professional locksmith yes but some thieves don’t know how to open an open door so they break it.
Most thieves are so effing dumb, they'd be dead if their brains didn't automatically work their lungs.
I've worked in mobile security attending break-in's of all sorts in commercial, industrial and domestic settings for almost twenty years.
I have seen steel doors ripped off, window cage's pulled off, entry through the roof or from beneath the floor, heavy digging machines tearing wall's down.
All sorts of brute force break-in's.
But I honestly am not aware of one case where even a cheap crappy padlock was actually picked.
I'm not saying it doesn't happen but in my experience it's extremely rare.
Thieves and robbers are generally not the smartest members of the population.
If I was trying to get in I would just cut the dead bolt. It’s right there.
@@tconnolly9820I imagine most who would utilize lockpicking are those who also decide that crime isn't worth it.
@@arussianspy3114Some dead bolts have hardened cores to make cutting through them incredibly difficult.
I know exactly zero tweakers with a tool like that. But I have seen lots of tweakers with grinders, sawzaws, and big hammers.
Who needs a James Bond gadget when a tweeker gets you the same results
Dude pulled out a lightsabre hilt to pick a lock lol
I seem to remember a character in the expanded universe who got an old lightsaber off the black market and used it for basically that exact purpose (professional burglar, also the lightsaber had a nearly dead power cell and for some reason that made the blade get a little shorter each time he used it which was i think a minor plot point)
When the pick is worth more than the door, lock and the loot behind it 🤐
Bet you’ve never seen the final level of this game…… -pulls out a game genie-
Since the core in the lock is a terrrible dimple lock I would think the key turning it is worth the same as the lock
"To open it, we'll be using a turning tool and jiggle our dimple rake inside Until something happens, you can tell something happened when your lock isn't how it was or It's like how it wasn't."

@@jpcost the fact remains, if someone wants into YOUR house, like I said before, a lock won't stop them.
In an apartment, sure the front door helps with the buzzer....but do you know how to bypass that? I do, and no, I won't be telling you.
So keep thinking that the door is keeping u safe, it's not. Again, if someone wants into YOUR house, they are coming in.
That's why I have an m9 on my bedside table, along with a noise maker on my door
@@Nordlyfans exactly, if someone wants into your house your locks will not do anything, I can kick your door down and I'm not very strong.
Not to mention there are about a million rocks outside and you have quite a few windows.
Again in an apartment complex it's not too hard to buzz yourself in.
@@Johneyap I’m explaining that most minor break-ins are not targeting a specific house or living space specifically. I wasn’t referring to buzzer doors in my first statement.
Say a thief makes it into a building or is walking down a street. Which house/room are they breaking into? The door that is locked and bolted or the door that is easily accessible and unlocked…
Also my final point still stands. A lock may not be able to stop someone from breaking in, but it can definitely DELAY whoever is trying to get in and allow you to call the authorities or get a weapon of some sort to defend yourself with.
The one tool that can turn lock picking in to a mini game.

Rq if this lock is used in high crime areas then... WHY R U SHOWING THOSE CROOKS HOW TO UNLOCK IT! lol
I started lock picking as a hobby several years ago. Every lock that has been built, can either be picked or bypassed.
Use good locks....but alarms and cameras are recommended also.
It's a very expensive piece of equipment that still requires skill to operate effectively without damaging the tool and causing it to no longer function. it also takes longer if you don't already know the lock like this guy probably has had time to know exactly what biting to put into the tool to get an open as well as making it immediately obvious to anyone watching you are doing something to the lock. As suck most criminals are not going to use this method, as breaking the door down or outright breaking the lock can be done with less expensive tools, less skill and likely faster.
Now, on the other hand, showing this to everyone on the internet can push lock companies to do better as if everyone finds out how unsecure your lock is that it can be opened by something silly like using a hammer to smack an oddly shaped key into the lock they will not buy your lock.
Yeah but can they pick a .410 defense round out of their kidneys 🤷🏾♂️
