I liked that at least the death riders let pac and cope have a decent match tonight. Pac is my fav of the group. He needs to turn on them and say the bastard works alone.
Here’s how I would do the Deathriders. While Kenny and Ospreay take on the Don Callis’ Family, the Deathriders join up with the Family temporarily. This would be an Easter egg with Mox v Kenny Omega first Dynamite episode/ barb wire death match. Marina needs to win the title from Mariah May or Toni Storm in a dominant brutal fashion. The Deathriders are filling a hole of AEW not having a definitive heels that barely anyone likes. I would end it with a blood and guts all or nothing match. Kenny Omega, Ospreay, Hobbs, Bryan Danielson as a surprise partner (Orange Cassidy or Darby to feud with Yuta), and Willow or Kris Statlander vs the Deathriders.
They should pivot to a clean slate. Rip the bandaid off quick. If Jay White is facing Mox at Grand Slam. We already got ripped out of a Switchblade reign to bad booking once. Have him beat Mox with Rated FTR’s help. They go on to win the trios titles instead. PAC and Yuta go on their own, and Claudio blames Mox for the downfall. Undisputed Era turn heel and Marina joins them to get revenge on Rated FTR. Then Claudio and Mox go into a blood fued building Mox as a sympathetic tweener. Then Kingston makes his return to rescue Mox because he never trusted Claudio. Because at the end of the day Hangman’s biggest enemy aside from Swerve, is Jay White. So we can get our feel good story at All In for some true Cowboy Shit
I only found this show two weeks ago and man am I happy. There are very few people who have the balls to call out people and the truth. They're not worried about offending people or kissing ass thinking people will stop talking to them or they'll stop having access to wrestler's/events and f*ck it’s so refreshing. The only other people I've seen do that is Bischoff, Cornette, and Conan's podcast but even those guys don't always have the guts to call out WWE. You guys do especially AEW's absolute sh*t show every week. It’s just different and refreshing as hell. Gonna be a fan as long you keep doing it. Respect! 👊💯
Counterpoint on the Death Riders: is it possible you are being worked? They are the villains and the heels. They do not want you to cheer them or be excited. If you don't care for them, isn't that what they want?
