Oh wow i didn't know you're from here. Im in north of seattle. Bremerton has lots of Filipinos coz of the naval base. Did you go to Morissette's threelogy concert in renton back in April? It was amazing. Jaya was in the audience as a surprise. Have you reacted to jaya? She lives in bremerton too. Sadly her house burned down thank God everyone was ok. Anywho, thanks for the reaction.

Like you, I grew up with Filipinos in my hometown San Francisco 🌁 Daly City, San Jose, Vallejo (birthplace of Jayda Avanzado and HER) are close by with plenty of Filipinos.
I frequent Seattle and Vancouver, Canada 🇨🇦 2 other cities with many Filipinos.
As for this song, Morissette Amon treats her cover of Sheryn Regis as if it were an original. Squeaks 🐿 Belts 😃

May I recommend Power (black and white version) that she recorded it in her home studio with her husband (Dave) at the mixing board. Morissette has supposedly found a new place for her belt and its evident here. If she still has years (she's 26) till she reaches her "prime".....the world in in for an awakening!!!!!

Hi Valerie, I've missed your Morissette reactions, so nice to see another one and thank you! You had some questions that I wanted to try to help with 🙂 You had asked her age - she turned 26 in June. So no, not in her prime yet, and I agree that her voice is changing nicely as she gets older. It's maintained its characteristic richness and fullness despite her opting for a more forward placement since approximately early 2020. She doesn't use her whistle register as often anymore, nor her intentional vocal breaks (ironically, since this is one recent song that does have a lot of the latter). To me, her voice is taking on more textures and colors as she gets older, and she's constantly working hard to continue honing her craft.
As for other songs of hers that you haven't done yet, two requests I have are She Used to Be Mine from The Waitress ua-cam.com/video/CCoUfT_oXko/v-deo.html and Will You Stay, an original from her Signature EP that came out last year ua-cam.com/video/KulUX8G5skQ/v-deo.html
