Nice bro ! I am about to swap mine too. So all you did was losing the top screws that holds the bumper and just yank out the top portion to have room to pull the headlight out ?

Yes, but if you want to make it much easier on your self take off the bumper

That’s nice !! But I heard with pre lci cars you have to extend the wire by a harness to reach the headlight?! Is this real or was easy to plug in to new ones?

It is real, I didn’t go that route I cut some of the zip ties that were holding the cable in place and was able to get it to clip in

I did it with a coded bro that knows how to do all that

Programmers uses E-sys , its only available on windows and You can program yourself but you will need good german translator since bmw is german car . When you launch E-sys, everything will be in german and no there is no way to switch to English
