    Thanks you helped me make a decision on which to get because I’ve had the km3 and I’m thinking of the Maxis I’m actually going to order them today!!👍👍👍👍👍👍🇺🇸

    Thanks for the review.. I'm finding myself deciding between these two tyres right now! Currently running 33" Nitto Trail Grapplers and after 90k, with regular rotations, I cannot fault them on or offroad. Only problem is it seems that, in Australia, they're becoming harder to find from the big sellers and at a reasonable price. I value your no nonsense and genuine reviews on all things.. so thanks again :)

      I know a few guys running the Nitto's and they are also very happy with them. Damn shame about availability though, maybe a search through some of the parallel importers (like Tempe Tyres in NSW) might help.

      How often did you rotate them?

    I was pleasantly surprised by the Maxxis as well. I originally purchased them due to availability not because they were my first choice. On my 2nd set tho.
    BTW, 6:24, do whatever you like, but ugaduggas vs tq wrench has little to do with 4wd vs sports car. Steel wheels, ugadugga. Alloys tq.

    Bf Goodrich should have kept the original mud terrain TA. WAS no heed to discontinue then they would have still sold.

    Can you please tell me if you know what's the difference between Razr and Bighorn 764?

    Hi again mate. I'm also trying to decide between these tyres, so this was interesting. I have another stupid question for you relating to tyres.. kinda. I'm moving to Sydney for work in a couple of weeks from QLD. My TJ currently has a 2inch lift, one inch body lift, and 31s. I'm going to need new tyres very soon and was looking at maybe going to 33s. My question is... Do you have any issues getting your annual roadworthy down there with the lift and larger tyres on your TJ!

    • @DarrylSheather
      @DarrylSheather Рік тому

      They'll pick you up on tyre poke out but unless the guy is a douche, no. What you may find is that you get targeted on the road. I've been defected twice with 33's, never with 32's. To be completely legal, your current setup without the body lift is perfect.

    Only problem with not changing spare is when rubber gets old you can't use it in sand it falls apart . 5 years it's done .

      Will stick with USA made KM3's there must be a good reason the Australian Army use them.

    I'm tempted to get the KM3's but I'm unsure. I had KM 2's and they were THE WORST TIRES EVER!! They were square, could NOT BE BALANCED! They wore very well, but rode like shit

    • @DarrylSheather
      @DarrylSheather Рік тому +1

      Not good, I haven't experienced that but do think the KM3 are a better tyre than the KM2's. Drama is most are E rated now whereas previously you could get C rated versions which rode better.

      Yep...had a set of BFG KO2 that simply would not balance. It took almost 2 pounds of weight for a 33 inch tire.

    Clearly you don’t know how tires work theses days. The belts inside go one way and wear one way. Your
    Ruined the tire I can’t wait for an update

      Both of the tyres discussed aren't directional, so can be rotated front to back and side to side. Here's a link to the Maxxis website to help you learn a bit, hope this helps. www.maxxis.com/uk/know-your-tyres/car-tyre-safety/tyre-rotation/

      I've now run both these tires 37x12.50R17's on my 2007 Cummins. The Maxxis' are a far superior tire.
