Honey badger just don't give a fuck.
If a honey badger gave the aliens problems, they would’ve been truly screwed had they nabbed a wolverine.
It would be the worst mistake they ever made and the last one all at the same time.
My money is on the honey Badger. Oh, I have wolverines about 50 km NE of me.

Well you say that but in case you’re not aware the honey badger holds the Guinness world record for most fearless animal on earth so compared to a wolverine which after a certain point will retreat from a fight the honey badger NEVER surrenders or retreats to this creature it’s a literal fight to the death scenario at every confrontation they have even been known to attack jeeps and other vehicles just for being in their territory
This reminds me of a short story I read many decades ago. I cannot remember the name of the story. This is a very clumsy synopsis of that story.
Aliens landed on Earth with instruments that could register intelligence and aggression. The arrogant exploratory team met up with a grizzly bear. Half of the team was lost before their weapons brought it down.
With bigger weapons and more caution, the remaining team set forth again. They found another grizzly bear and took readings from a distance, stunned at the level of aggression the bear showed. They noticed a much smaller creature known as a wolverine approaching the bear and believed it would be quickly eaten. When the two creatures confronted each other, the aggression of the smaller creature was completely off the scale. The grizzly bear turned tale and ran off.
The stunned team carefully followed the wolverine to see what happened next. The animal approached two human children and rolled on its back while the children scolded it for running off. The new creature called human showed far greater intelligence and the ferocious wolverine submitted to the juvenile humans. What would would the adults be capable of? The ship commander ordered everyone back to the ship and recommended Earth be put on an avoid forever list.
The children's father smiled as he called them in for supper and watched them play with "Benny" the wolverine. He remembered how they found it as an abandoned kit and fed and raised it as part of their family.
I wish I could remember the name of that story, but I enjoyed remembering it.
There was a good one of these stories I heard recently.
It was about some aliens landing in Australia.

Honey Badgers have been known to mess up 3 lionesses, who where feeling a little peckish, bad move.
