It's hilarious that the pigeon isn't even walking, he's riding on the guy's shoulder, but he's still doing the head-bob when the guy walks, and stops when the guy stops walking! 😆

Pigeons have the strongest familial bonds of any bird, so much the grand parents will help raise grand babies and so forth. They are some of natures most loving parents! Truly special birds, so tight knit 💕
all birds and all animals are special. like human animals, their evolution, behavior, personality, and culture are outside their control. we all are insignificant instruments created and molded by nature.

Honestly it makes sense the pigeon wouldn't want to leave this specific species ( rock doves) in most of the world are descended from domesticated individuals that got released. Since they're feral animals and not true wild ones they still have that "I am pet" instinct in them.
My husband recently decided to get a few chickens for eggs, so as I was googling about chicken care I fell down a rabbit hole 😂 & discovered that Amazon sells diapers for pet chickens! There are also tutorials online on how to make them at home. One lady shared a video of how she uses the disposable face masks as a diaper for her pet chickens & showed how she puts it on! I've seen everything now. 😅 Lol

Oh wow. What an adorable character you have there. I had to turn the volume down just so my (sleeping) pigeon would not hear your pigeon and get excited. My pigeon and I have been together about 16 years. He/she has a cage in my house and sometimes I take him/her outside to play in the grass. I stay close for protection. Very smart bird. USA
That exactly how my lil girly pigeon was w me. She would attack my wife and chase her all the time. It was so hilarious 😂 sadly we lost Ash about a year ago and i still get really choked up when i talk about her. They are amazing sweethearts. I wish people would be nicer to them. My Ashy girl taught me to be a better human ❤ I thank God for bringing her to my life

You'll find that pigeons, rats, and other animals considered 'gross' or 'pests' are actually some of the sweetest, smartest animals, especially those raised and nurtured from a young age. They deserve a lot better treatment than they get
I love watching pigeons, esp while on my break from work b/c I love how intelligent, confident & the high level of street smarts that they have to survive in a North America country with harsh winter & short summer seasons. With those things, I have such high respect for them b/c they truly are survivors with high pain tolerance, esp the ones with permanent injuries such as missing some toes or a foot, some walk with a limp probably due to a broken leg that obviously never got medically treated. It saddens me when I see ppl mistreat them so harshly & have no regard for them nor their wellbeing & the preciousness of every living being.
I rescued a pigeon who I planned to help and release later but he stayed with me for 15 years. He would go outside and come back. He was my companion. ❤
