- Broken Hearts - Ahana Raichand despises her mother, Laila, and is disturbed by her father Rahul's death. One night, she meets Anant Mathur, an older man who turns out to be her father's friend.
They strike a friendship and thus begins a story of shared sorrow and love.

Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara is about a girl, Ahana. It is about her life, her hate, her love and in the final moments, her death.
It is a tragic story of love of the unrequited kind.
The premise of the show is simple but something that lives with you a long time after you have finished with it.
When you shun love and make your decisions in the absence of it you walk down a path from which you can never return. Then when love comes knocking, it’s just too late.
To understand the story we must first meet three families, the Raichand family, the Mathur family and the Gupta family.
