Do u guys use lines to get all your grade or do u have a laser level that I just didn’t see? Btw u guys do great work love watching the channel! Cheers from upstate ny
Hey I been watching your videos and been wondering why do you guys only seal the concrete with magnesium floats and not use carbon steel trowels to do the final finish before blooming?
You are never supposed to use steel trowels on exterior concrete. Supposedly it seals in the bleed water and can weaken the surface. I don't know where you are from but up here in Wisconsin we have winters that are really hard on concrete, especially the surface. I try to do everything I can to maintain the strength of the surface. We only steel trowel interior pours like garage floors etc.
Hey man, what do you and your guys normally make on standard jobs? Sorry if this is too personal! Loving the videos but have always wondered the hourly rates and profit margins when I watch these kids of videos! 👍🏻
If the driver didn't have any confidence you sure made him know it. Everybody has to start somewhere. How much confidence did you have when you poured concrete for the first time. I think you may be a bit of a bully.
I try to be careful to write off as much as I can. Also I just wanted to say that I have the utmost respect for tax guys, you guys have unique minds and do the work most of us could never do.
I talk about pulling the wire mesh constantly. It's pretty hard to see in time lapse, we use the corners of the cum a longs to pull the wire. I am anal about it and you will see that if you watch more of my videos. Some guys are commenting that they are sick of hearing me talk about pulling the wire all the time. Thank you for watching!
it is so incredible to see how the employees work so hard. That one part where Ryan asks for his hearing protection, 2 of the guys went to go before Ryan even finished asking is just such an example of how diligent and respectful these guys are.
A million subs 😂 Lets not get carried away. Let me hit 10K first. But, I'm glad you're thinking of starting your own. It's a ton of work and extremely time consuming editing videos but you can do it if you're determined. 👊
Man God Bless the whole Victory crew i really mean it...my brother showed me your videos and i literally cant stop watching them they're awesome keep them videos coming and im from Merced CA.
It’s really not easy to have a group of skilled hard working men. I work as a welder and it’s 13 of us running a plant from jobs that we build. Props to your men and yourself the skilled boss 😎☑️
I must say you are 100% correct about still having your concrete boots on at the end of the day. those days are usually killers. im from the area just curious what town was that in? love those long 12/14 foot wide driveways, its nice to fly down them striking from the outside. looks good.
Hey mate , got a concrete crew in nz , you guys do a few things different but come up with the same mint product 👍 things can be stressful being the boss aye but it's rewarding all the same . If ever over in New Zealand hit me up , I know some good fishing spots and welcome to come do some crete if your having withdrawals lol , cheers 🍻
Question- did you have to pull out the old gravel and just re-grade it, or go get new gravel completely. Just curious, enjoying the old seasons, while I wait for your new stuff.
Please wear the seat belt in your truck and not bypass it with the other belt. When that air bag goes off it will push you into the roof and snap your neck if you're not buckled in. Seen it happen.....
I know your channel is still small still but you should create merch with your slogan’s “how’s the coffee buisness”but your definitely going to blow up love the videos !
Hey man If i lived close to you I would definitely come to work for you and be reliable. You would have to teach the trade but I would be willing to stay and apply it.
I guess I missed something . who's the dude in the safety suit? That cracked me up Daryl hiding behind the truck. That's the first thing he does on a job look for places to hide lol . Just joking.another great video my brother
Starting around 6:10'ish,I didn't see anyone lifting the screen🤔,. and Daryl Jr iss FIRED!!.hahaa 😆.. it almost seems like the crew doesn't know what they are doing when he's not around..😂it had to be said.. No but seriously,I only knew that the screen had to be lifted from watching this channel so maybe it didn't need to be lifted for some reason???? If someone/anyone that knows concrete could let me know?I would greatly appreciate it,,in advance, Thank You!!. 🙏Prayers n Blessings to all🙏
Sorry guys,, sucks to be wrong 🥵 buuut after watching a 2nd time I think there was someone lifting, it was just hard to see since the video was in fast forward mode😁 I can admit when I'm wrong, don't like having to do it,but I definitely have to do it more than I like to admit 😂lol.. """SORRY GUYS"""
It’s crazy how different everyone does concrete. Here in Cali our trucks our backwards and I see a lot more trowels finishing, I notice you guys only use mag floats or aluminum floats..
Yes, we only have front discharge trucks and we have to be much more careful how we finish the surface because we get a lot of ice and snow that is tough on concrete.
I'm ninety-nine percent sure this is going to be a dumb question, but is there a purpose to cutting those joints nowadays? Or is that just an aesthetic thing that people do to give it that old school look?
Pasting this, Joints allow one concrete element to move independently of other parts of the building or structure. Joints also let concrete shrink as it dries-preventing what's called internal restraint. Internal restraint is created when one part of a slab shrinks more than another, or shrinks in a different direction
Love your channel man all the way from Missouri! And love what your doing! Need more good contractors like you man! You should start selling your merchandise on your channel! Would love to buy a hat!
Thank you very much. I plan on selling merchandise later on. I literally just started this channel eight weeks ago and did not expect so much interest so fast.
@@WrenchNinja91 from boston and same here found it on accident just scrolling on UA-cam. Been watching every video all day today. So many more to go. I guess I’m lucky I didn’t find out about the channel till today

Your crew works like a well oiled machine good moral comes from being good leader 👍
Music towards the end when y’all are pouring reminds me of Home Alone LOL
Why didnt U put wire all the way a crossed ???? Wont a heavy truck crack the outsides ??
Eazzzzzzy Money!
Do u guys use lines to get all your grade or do u have a laser level that I just didn’t see? Btw u guys do great work love watching the channel! Cheers from upstate ny
Yes, we use string lines on everything and measure under the string with a tape measure.
Hey I been watching your videos and been wondering why do you guys only seal the concrete with magnesium floats and not use carbon steel trowels to do the final finish before blooming?

Good evening what is a nice floater
why do you do stress joints like instead of cutting?
If the driver didn't have any confidence you sure made him know it. Everybody has to start somewhere. How much confidence did you have when you poured concrete for the first time. I think you may be a bit of a bully.
I have been binge watching about every video over the last 6hrs
This driveway had to been pricey $60G ?
Yeah I bet that's pretty accurate guess. $50-60gs.
Yeah, what you charge on this drive way concrete man?
Why is the mesh only in the middle?
As a tax dude I hope your using the company credit card for them donuts and all the food for business deductions ! Every dollar counts !
I try to be careful to write off as much as I can. Also I just wanted to say that I have the utmost respect for tax guys, you guys have unique minds and do the work most of us could never do.
how much a job like that cost?

The driver did a pretty good job, you saying all this bad stuff about him and that he has no confidence in his look was kind of insulting
He wasn't too bad.
Definitely need some cucumber slices on them eyes..

Question, why was the mesh on the ground and not midway up?
They pull it up as they pour the concrete.
Wish there were more bosses like u man. Great content too

Excavator? Lol. Back that truck up and load it. Use the front blade to make grade.
