This reminds me of the Shelob's Lair level from the LOTR battle for middle earth rts. In it, Sam had to run through caves collecting gold and saving gondor soldiers to beat Shelob. Love the comparison
at 1:20:00 I think youre better off just not claiming that area... Leave the giants in the pin... Now that you killed them they respawn in the center and youve got like 40 giants youve gotta kill on the final wave...
Can you coach me on 900%? 😂 I have succeeded once in 200 tries at least, maybe you could make a step by step guide video to 900%? That would be awesome. Covering when to reroll bad maps and critical timings to push out
someone could do math and tell you whats better. if you have 40 armor and get +8% each time, ten ranks would be 120% armor which would be better than 2400 extra life. but its doubtful they maintain that armor power. pretty sure it was a barrel that destroyed that sawmill, poor map design.
1:09:05 Armor is better. Increasing your health doesn't do much for you since your regen stays the same, but armor makes your regen AND your health more effective.
If armor works the way I think it does, with the first armor upgrade you take 13.3% less damage - much better than increasing your health from 800 to 1000 (25% increase) The next armor upgrade would be from 48 > 56, which is then 15% less again :) Scales exponentially. And makes your regen better. Health scales exponentially the other way though.
This was a refreshingly good map to see. I like the role-playing elements that this had. Nicely done, Kensei.
I love such RPG elements! Great video, thank you Kensei
Glad you enjoyed!
Love videos like this! Please more fabular, thematic, or RPG maps 🖤
There will be a part 2, good RPG maps are rare though

Neat map. The underground idea really spices it up.

Интересная карта.

The map is different and it's a very refreshing concept.
