Why do I feel as though the Mew was hurt before and Gulf understands that and he is like a comfort for him...like bruh you can tell they have gotten to know each other on a deep level...its no joke.
Mew was scared at first to approach Gulf and was hesitant to let him in after what happened with Art. You can see past clips of Mew asking for permission from Gulf before he did ANYTHING. over time you can see him relax more and let his walls down to be with Gulf. So yes I agree with you that Gulf helped heal Mew. It's beautiful.
