This is the second of four buildings we shall be touring throughout this mini-series. The videos will be based around us touring the main homes of four well known animated shows.

This is fantastic! I've been searching all over the Internet for a layout of the American Dad house so I can build it in Sims 3, but there isn't one. Your Minecraft build is just what I needed for a layout! I've built the Family Guy house, King of the Hill house, and The Simpsons home in Sims 3, and I really want to add American Dad to my list. :D

We felt that this was the most accurate. I might ato some point have another go at remaking the upstairs, seeing as the corridor is usually shown differently.
Item frames were not present in Minecraft when we built and toured this building. But will add them now. Thank you for the great suggestion. :D

Thanks for the suggestions, we assume that you are referencing Hit & Run, The Simpsons Game (2008) and Road Rage. Sadly all of those aren't very useful, they either make the place too linear, change the layout to improve the game, split the town up into different sections, each separate, or make the place too small. But we are currently sort of using The Simpsons Game layout until it gets too large, when it does, we found an online map we will work off of, but also make part of it up ourselves.

I assume that you are asking if we are going to make more tours soon. We are currently very busy, but we are trying to find time to tour again.
I have not seen an episode with that in yet. I will add it once I see the episode and find where it is.

We like to play games with our free time when we aren't doing University work. We find it relaxing and enjoyable, so from what I see, it is the best thing for us to do with our time, relax and have fun with friends.

I don't remember either of those, I guess I will have to look back through the episodes to find them. We don't really have any more space to add more rooms into the house though.

Ooh, thank you for the suggestion. We will use dyed leather armour in item frames to do so.
That was a good episode. We thought that we would still keep the tree and the treehouse in the build.

We do it for a few reasons. Firstly, it allows us (a group of friends from Secondary school and College) to keep in touch now since we have gone to different Universities. Secondly, we like to show of what we have made on Minecraft. And finally, we are mostly creative people, and find this a good outlet for our creativity.

I finished my own rendition of the American Dad house for Sims 3. I had to place a few windows in odd places and the laundry room was a pain, but I finally did it. :D

Could you tell us what you did not like about it and what you thought was wrong? I might be rearranging the upstairs at some point, I have seen more of the recent episodes now, and see that they seem to have a constant upstairs corridor now.

We don't use mods that add blocks to the game to make our builds, we prefer to work with the vanilla blocks. You can do that with the downloadable map though.
We have already made Lard Lad Donuts, and we have made a tour of it.

The Planet Express ship is not next to the Family Guy house, but the Stonecutter's Lodge is. We have not destroyed one of the builds.

Only after we tour the buildings we have left to tour.
That would be very difficult, and seeing as the memorable part is the words, it might not turn out that great. But I would like to see it done. :)
Very nice.. ur videoes would be epic if u could work on your touring/ panning/ hosting skills (jumping around, going in and out of rooms etc)
