Great comparisons! Subscribed. I got my A1 Pro 2 months ago and I have never been happier. After I used my A1P, I can’t go back to smaller screen like my steam deck. All the hardware are built for gaming. In fact, I hook it up with my eGPU with 3070 for my work and desktop gaming. One suggestion to your channel but I ain’t no pro UA-camr so take it with a grain of salt 😝, it is that there are so many videos about the Aly and Steam Deck comparisons but there are not too many Aly and A1P comparisons. I am sure the more people knowing the A1P will make it better in community support, help the official support, and even getting more attentions on UA-cam as well when people search for Aly videos.

@BarelyAverageDude Thanks for replying. I did already but I think there could be a lot more content from it, like game by game comparisons in terms of FPS, Gameplay, heat, noise, battery, controller. Even comparing those free big AAA games like Fortnite, Apex Legends, etc would be very nice to watch. I also love how you have your camera set up to see both devices. Keep it up, I am looking forward to seeing more of your videos 😄

To me it is worth the upgrade. The 7840u has great performance. If I had the choice, I would buy the A1pro. Also the dpad has improved even though I rarely play dpad games cause most of the games i play rarely use the dpad
Just keep in mind, that there aren't official Amd drivers optimized yet for the 7840u. That will give some performance boost again and will change your mind maybe if its worth upgrading. 👍
This is how to pronounce it Okeezo not O A K ZOE Iove it and price drops now In my country its 520 dollars unlike before 1250 wtf thank goodness I waited it is better than steam deck though steam OS is better than Windows.
@@davidstechart1168 I saw that. Tbh at this point I'd lean towards recommending the ROG Ally which is $550 right now. But it you really like the A1 design and features then go for it. 👍🏾

@@davidstechart1168 I honestly haven’t used the A1 much since I got the A1 pro so I can’t speak on current bugs, but when I was using the a1 daily I didn’t have much issues (outside of typical windows stuff) I do think the a1 pro is much better now after many driver updates the performance gap is wider. Great content bruh. There aren't official drivers yet for any of the 7840u handhelds as of this comment mid July. AMD is dragging their feet so we won't get the true performance until they do they're thing. AMD is AMDing again, lol. Also the thermal solution in the A1 Pro is better than the A1.
if u look only at the specs a1pro should crush it but it's doesn't, stick thow with steam deck for couples of years , until we are not getting solid performance i will not upgrade it , just not worth it

Yeah I agree
10-25% is good enough

I’ll test again when they drop
This is good comparison. Can you have another compare between ALLY and A1 PRO using same 60hz. Thank you.
What are the dimensions? I'm trying to get a hard shell case. I don't like the one aokzoe sales.
I like the muted colors, more eye pleasing but I’m sure the Pro A1 out performs the regular model
I owned A1 till i sold it. It was just too buggy
What bugs did you have?
I just got an original A1 off Ebay fairly cheap, seems it'll be fine if I just run newer stuff at 1080p and 1200p for older games.
How muuch

Lol yeah they’re definitely AMDing 😅🤷🏽♂️
What thumb grips are you using for aokzoe
Grips made for the Switch I got them years ago
Im confused how did you get those joysticks? They are not the same on the official website
I have caps on them.

By the time strixpoint arrived maybe valve will release steamdeck 2 at the same time😂
That design isn't appealing. I prefer a more minimalist look, like the Aya Neo. Good video though.
Yeah I don't like the design either. The white one actually looks better. I had the white one.
