6:35 If he had replaced the pegs with those casters from home depot that would not have happened! The casters roll and you recover, but the moment that bare frame hits the ground you're already at such an extreme angle it just digs right in! Love the video!
Good point but unfortunately the casters don’t allow us to drift so closely together and cause more accidents than you’d think. Thats why most of the more experienced and faster riders remove the casters.
@@notJsons interesting. The casters are under the frame, (I'm being sincere here) can you explain how that causes the problem you stated? I just don't understand how that would interfere
Just to make sure, you’re not talking about the back casters you’re talking about the pegs that stick out towards the front of the cart. If you are, they just end up catching on random things. It’s hard to explain but if they catch on a pot hole or you do a jump and it lands on them you loose so much momentum you fly off of the cart and injure yourself more often.
@@notJsons I'm talking about the front pegs being replaced by casters. And given those circumstances I see what you mean. I never considered riding over potholes or jumping my cart 🤣 For simple drifting on relatively even ground they will definitely reduce chances of going overboard vs letting the frame flip you.
You can buy a stock crazy cart for $500 new that goes 12mph, you can DIY one by buying the cart used on marketplace and upgrade it, or you can buy one Premodded from the link in my bio.
You guys are turning left and right uselessly. And where are the brakes? Better thing to do would be to just mod a kart. It'll have brakes and give real sense of driving than just turning left and right for no practical reason. Again, brakes are a major design flaw.
I know exactly what you mean, but once you ride one of these, the turning (drifting) is the fun part. You'll find yourself going down a straight section just flipping back and forth because there's something really fun about it. I agree that the brakes are a serious design flaw, but the reality is these carts are designed with 12mph max speed in mind so someone's shoes is no problem. it's when you start going this fast that it becomes much more difficult and costly on the shoes to stop.
