BET could've featured a stage mix with the women of “emerging” male artists like Destin Conrad, Arin Ray, Josh Levi, Lucky Daye, Tone Smith, and R&B groups like WanMor and No Guidnce to highlight Usher's influence. That way the general audience can see who’s new.

I love Usher, and I have loved him since Call me a mack days. I seen him in concert multiple times...from My Way (he opened for Monet, I mean Mary J lol), 8701, Confessions, (I went to the 1st stop of the tour in Hampton, VA), Pharrell's SITW fest in 2019...But I was fully disappointed in this tribute. Usher not only dances well, but he vocally is a top notch singer. I was pissed. And I need somebody to release the uncensored speech. It wont no dudes?! Where is Tank, Tyrese, Neyo, Eric Bellinger, Miguel, Mario, John Legend, Robin Thicke, October London, Luke James?! I wouldn't a mind a sprinkle of 1-2 women, but it should have been primarily men.

Victoria Monet’s dance moves aren’t as sharp as they should be. If she works on that, she can be a great performer.
