  • The Biblical commandment to include salt with every one of the Temple offerings conveys a vast secret of creation that helps us to constantly improve and grow, as we strive for closeness to the Divine.
The Torah portion of Vayikra (Leviticus 1 : 1 - 5 : 26) is read on Shabbat Zachor, the 'Sabbath of Remembrance', 13 Adar II, 5784 - March 23, 2024

The Hebrew word for salt, "melach," can also be used metaphorically to mean bitterness or sorrow. This meaning is derived from the fact that salt was often used to enhance the flavor of food, but when used in excess it can also make the food taste bitter.
In the context of Lot's wife, the Hebrew word for salt could be used metaphorically to convey the idea becoming a statue of bitterness or sorrow, when we look back in longing at the negative inclinations of our previous selves.

As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. Be strong and courageous
"Love who I AM with all your heart and
with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and, Love your neighbor as yourself."
I AM love, and all who live in love live in me, and I in them. And as we live in who I AM, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we live like the lamb here in this world.
Such love has no fear because perfect love casts out fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love. We love each other because he loved us first.
If the holy spirit is love, mercy, peace& forgiveness then every teaching that I AM eternal punishment, hell, torment, wrath, and vengefulness defeat the purpose, blaspheming my very nature of kindness peace and patience. It turns my spirit into vengeance and is self-defeating. They're turning mercy into death and the grave... They murder for the law physically and spiritually for gain and power

I bless those who are poor and realize their need for who I AM, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.
I bless those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
I bless those who are humble,
for they will inherit the whole earth.
I bless those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be satisfied.
I bless those who are merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
I bless those whose hearts are pure,
for they will see who I AM
I bless those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of who I AM.
I bless those who are persecuted for doing right, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.
I bless you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers. Be happy about it! Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted in the same way
