5:00 Must be a service disconnect for one of those new "wireless" CNC machines. All kidding aside, thanks for sharing this series.

I'm very interested in how you were able to power the machine using those two transformers. What do you call this technique? Please detail some of this. Great videos. Thanks

Im looking at upgrading to a Matsuura mc510vg. Hopefully I can figure out how to rig up a big enough VFD. Is your fadal sensitive to frequency and such. Was is very difficult to figure out for you?

With Fadal you can get all the detailed schamtics, that helps a lot. So it was not to bad figuring everything out. Not sure what you mean by sensitive to frequency?

Keep an eye on the level of the machine, it may slowly shift. Good thing on the smell, the Mrs will be none to happy!

Who cares what the lady thinks? The lady in your life is always going to give you a hassle about everything you do. It's better to ask for forgiveness, than to ask for permission.

Fadal milling machine centers are a piece of shit just like Tormach. You are paying for the brand name & not getting all the features if you buy a Precision Matthews milling machine & convert it to CNC. If you are going to buy a milling machine center then look at Mazam, Okuma or some other higher end mill centers except Fidia ( the worlds biggest piece of shit milling machine centers). I know because we had at GE had lots of them and they were nothing but trouble. The factory didn't even know how to solve simple problems with their machines.
