You really should know all of the Lannister footsoldiers have a morale of 7. (or even worse in the case of Xbows) (you consistently allowed the mountains men to test on a 6) Also; Flayed men have no sundering. So your Sworn Brother swould save on 5+ (21:00min) Plz note I do love the Song batreps. Keep em coming. Lovely painted models. Great ruleset. A+
When the mountain men got attacked by Jon, you were supposed to take 6 wounds but you only remove 5 models, and several times during the game the unit was reduced to just Jon. Would've killed him and his unit much sooner.
That actually pretty much won him the game... he also didnt calculate the vicious on the Cersei influence brothers a bit later. With both of these, the Lannisters would have fared better I think.
16:04 Ash said (and should have) 4 more (dead) guys.. removed 3.. 🙈😅 Both lists are good though.. the lists keep on getting better / meanier I think 👍😂
actually you guys have never used this rule to drop or pass the objective marker after panic roll failed ;) that would have been completely different game
@@GuerrillaMiniatureGames You played it correctly, then, but without the FAQ it seems to be really strong. Great batrep anyways, keep 'em coming please :D
Greetings from Germany, Thats a really badass Lannister list. Both armys looking great guys. I think you got something wrong: 13.28 min. You shifted your engaged units, which was in both cases not possible because you could not align 50% of the tray to the enemy (p. 17 melee attacks), besides the 1" rule of distance to enemy units.
Hi Ash. I have been enjoying your ASOIAF content on UA-cam. I did the kickstarter...mostly for models for other games...but the rules and the gameplay have excited my interest and the interest of a gaming group I hope to join. I travel at least an hour to play so I want to play good games with good folks. I had a couple of questions for you, if you have time. How does your dollar a game Patreon pledge work out in annual fees? Like to know what I'm spending. Do you give painting tips for ASOIAF as well? I have been travelling for months on business and to see family, so an enormous pile of miniatures all arrived at once. You have been playing ASOIAF for about a year? now and I was wondering how you like it and what you think its future might be. Watching the Canadian tournament footage today...that seems encouraging. Some Infinity players I know are thinking of taking it on as well. We are all Oldhammer players so we have a little concern about the clutter and cards and the influence of the political sideboard. It looks to me like the 4x6 50 point games would be the best, but unforgiving to maneuvering mistakes. I have been enjoying your batreps while on the road, and would like to get your thoughts on the future of the game. Thanks
What’s with these partial shifts in combat on round 2 Isn’t that an illegal shift not only because you are within 1” of an enemy but because you cannot make it 50% exact.
Nice Batrep! Like the armys, the painting and watching you Play in General. Sadly there ist this big mistake that you forgot to drop the objectives when failing a moral test. That would be a really big game changer. And some more little mistakes: for example mountainsmen have base Moral of 7 not 6 and some little more mistakes when making moraltests. But nothing big. But anyway nice to see you playing this game. Please more of this :D
Man, I really want to like this game but I just can't get round the cards. The small table sizes also don't really allow a lot of movement other than "I deploy here and move straight ahead".
You are so wrong there, there is a lot of maneuvering for a move tray based game, plus you can play on a larger table if you wish, the rulebook actually suggests a 6x4
Somewhat yes do to their lack of mobility & Healing. Though also for some bizarre reason The Night's Watch is slighty overpowered an has a lot of healing (despite how weak by numbers an resources They are in both the books and show)

Man Ghost seems to be an absolute nightmare of a unit
Beautiful Lannister/Bolton army, Rob!
The Night's Watch healing is insane. Lol.
just OP =O
That D3 die is so confusing after a lifetime of rolling a D6 for those rolls.
Every time he roles it I think he is cheating
at the beginning of 2nd round Boltons have failed the panic test and should have dropped the objective! that would be game changing

At 12:00, when you say you block 2d3 hits with the SoTRoM card, you can only block 1d3, according to the V1.3 FAQ
This was FAQ'd after this was recorded.

@@GuerrillaMiniatureGamesThis d6 with only 1,2 and 3 scores is super confusing.

Why do you have to roll to charge if your unit is in movement range(mobility) of your target?

Which type of cigar box battle mat?
Lost Temple I believe. :)
Does "Shield that guards the realms of men" really stack like that? The effects share a trigger I thought.
Edit: spelling
Not anymore. RAW it did but was FAQd to not.
I didn't think vows could be attached to Ghost?
He’s a Night’s Watch Unit so They sure can!

@@DavidSmith-te9gg agreed. This is the most tactical TT game I know. And it's easy to learn as well.
the hell..ghost is better than a giant o.O
I've noticed that the Lannisters rarely wins against any other factions here, are they by any means underpowered?

that's a mean looking Lannister list
Lol why are the leaders on foot? Kinda negates the point of leading. Cool game though.
What is this game and who is it made by? I'm trying to google it, but GoT is hot right now, so i'm getting monopoly and stuff.
CMON games and it’s A Song of Ice and Fire :)
@@GuerrillaMiniatureGames Cool, found it! Didn't realize this was all kickstarted.
Labadamier Labad it’s at retail now
d3+1, rolls a 2, 3 models came back...jesus, every roll of the guy is a cheat.
That dice is an actual D3. It only has 1s, 2s and 3s on it. Do you actually play A Song of Ice and Fire?
