Another one is where three girls will 'accidently' bump into you knocking you over. The doormen outside the club will rush over to help you to your feet while your pockets are being picked by one of the girls. This happened to my brother, who thought he was streetwise. One guy I spoke to was waiting outside a restaurant and saw this happen three times in the space of a few hours.
I lost €60 euros to them when I was young. But I learnt from that, they had a British person in their gang playing and he's the person who wins, which makes you think "I can do it" but he's with them!. There is usually 5/6 of them, keeping a look out for cops. Learn by your mistakes. Same as the beggers, go to the old town on a night and they have all the best cloths on, couldn't believe it. The way to thwart it is ... place the bet and then when they ask you to choose ... thank them and shake their hand quickly. Get the pea and lift up a potato. Or kick the box across the street.
I was caught bad by the potato men in Benidorm. It said outside the chip shop Fresh Fish and Chips. That'll do for me, in i go. Well neither the fish or potatoes were fresh, i was well and truly hooked, in fact…….wait a minute….it's different potato men here isn't it?

Got scammed by a different type .. emotional British crying telling me his he just found out his daughter got cancer and has 2 weeks to live the rat took my phone out of my pocket without me feeling a thing but I have the last laugh phone black spotted by network I was insured so got a new phone 3 days later
