- Israel says it carried out overnight attacks on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, striking weapons caches and "terrorist infrastructure." This comes just hours after 12 people were killed in a rocket attack on a sports field in the Isreal-occupied Golan Heights.
Israel's Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has visited the site of that attack in the Arab town of Majdal Shams. The military says those killed were children and teenagers. Israel is blaming the Hezbollah militant group, which is backed by Iran and based in Lebanon. The group has denied involvement.
The United Nations is calling for maximum restraint.

The elected government followed through with its promise. Since its founding, thousands of rockets have flown into Israel. Dozens of civilians died in terrorist attacks. Millions of aid funds - intended for civilian purpose - were misused to build rockets, tunnels, and other nonsense. The crimes committed on October 7th like raping women, killing children, or kidnapping a baby, was Humus has been doing for years. Secondly. Israel behaved more humanely in this conflict than any other conceivable party in any imaginable conflict. It allowed Palestinians to work in Israel, receive medical care or even migrate into their country. During war, they warn civilians where their military is operating. They admit collateral damage and apologize for it. They saved Sinwar’s life giving him a lethal brain surgery. They treated the daughter of Haniyyas daughter for her complex disease in Israel. While Humus was building rockets and tunnels with all the foreign aid, Israel supplied their civilians with free water and electricity. The situation is clear. In no other conflict the responsibility for the suffering has been so one sided and clear - in no other conflict have the perpetrators been held accountable so weakly. The same goes for any related conflict: Hezbollah, Houthis, etc…the more peacefully you try to live with them, the more visible their genocidal intents becomes.
People with voice and power who claim to reject war have the duty to unequivocally name the culprit of this war and do everything in their power to eliminate them. Everything else is responsibility for the resulting suffering and will extend it.

I feel Sorry for the Soldiers in the IDF going into Lebanon, because they are about to get seriously chewed-up. Lebanon is NOT Gaza. This isn't 1982 or 2006. Both of those invasions were total failures, likewise. I guess it is a Coincidence that the US just most recently, built its second largest Embassy in the World in Beruit. In Military Strategy it is called, "Overreach."
I politely disagree. Technology and tactics change. Israel is not operating under any international mandate and will strike with unrestrained ferocity. They have the logistics and technology.
