It's not *that* bad IMO. I've never played jump king, but I beat the Holocure version here without even using the checkpoints AND while collecting all the holocoins, including the ones guaranteed to make you fall (which is completely unnecessary btw) in around 2.5 hours It's hard, don't get me wrong, but it's not 20+ hours hard. And I'm sure it's much easier if you actually use the up to 4 checkpoints you can get The most tedious achievements are definitely the fandom ones...

A good side mode. Doesn't pulls its punchs and is designed for who it was meant for. I may struggle or never complete it, but it being there enchances the experience knowing someone enjoyed it being there.
If you could change direction once you jump straight up it would be cool, as far as I can tell jumping straight up is completely useless. I hope the devs change that.

I was playing it while watching, I played for 2 and a half hours getting to about 60ish percent at the highest, saved and quit after I got back to 55%

Wait is actually fully mapped with trajectories? That's going to make the tighter jumps a bit easier then then just flat L and R
It doesn't have Trajectories, it depends on how long you Charge the Jump and which Direction you move beforehand, with very little room for Error.
