How to DIY Ocean Terrarium Dome Turtle Polymer Clay Resin Tutorial

Hey everyone! Today I have video showing you how to make/craft/diy this cute/kawaii little turtle out of polymer clay with a glass dome terrarium filled with UV resin and star sand and other glitters/materials to mimic under the sea/ocean floor.
I am using materials I received from my Sophie and Toffee Elves subscription box (Polymer clay NOT included).

You will need polymer clay: an oven bake clay that hardens once baked according to instructions. Commons brands I use are fimo, sculpey and premo. Bought from Michaels, Hobby Lobby or Joanns or Amazon. Air dry clay works just as well.

if you had a hole in the bottom of the turtle and a clear spot through the resin. you could stick a cheep little led light in there and have some glowing globes. or idea a bulbasaur with translucent leaved around the bowl.or mini snow globes
Samantha Weatherly thats cute, i made a 'bobasaur' because I had no resin, so its got 'pearl' shaking in its bubble dome
that is a great idea! But I have seen that Bulbasaur idea before, so they might think she's copying her.

I absolutely LOVE this!! My mom and I got to dig up some sea turtles in Mexico last year that weren't strong enough to dig themselves out. We were able to save 9 baby loggerhead turtles. The most amazing thing I've ever done. Well I saved some sand from the nest and I've been thinking of what to do with it. This is exactly what I am going to do with it. Make us both a turtle. I'm so excited!! I also signed up for the elf box. Thank you SO much for the idea!! I can't express how perfect this is. My mom is going to absolutely LOVE this too. Hopefully we get to do it again this year!! Cheers!!
This is the perfect birthday present for my best friend. I'm heading to the beach, and I'll just find shells there and get some actual sand and do this.

If you want to get rid of the horizontal setting lines, squirt the resin in the swirl it up to the lip of your bowl ... that way there are no defined horizontal lines. Super cute though
