I've had that with Trips before but never a SF in 3 card but I have both beat a dealer SF and lost with a SF in UTH. The winning hand the SF was on the board and I had the over card so nothing too crazy. The losing hand though, 3 were on the board, I had the bottom 2 and the dealer caught the top 2 so it was nuts. I still made money on the hand but never went from happiness to disappointment so fast at a casino. But as other comments have mentioned you definitely should have been paid the ante bonus on that hand.

I don't know if it's just certain casinos or if they do it differently but even if you lose the hand if you have an ante bonus hand you get paid the ante bonus even if you lose. So the SF vs SF you'd still win the SF payout

What a bad beat. And then to get a minimum wheel wasn't fun either. Their wheel pays are low. I would not bet $5 a hand when the amount you're going to get 90 percent of the time is $40. The casino we play at has higher minimum payouts. And there's a $1k on the second wheel where this one maxed at $500. Yikes.

They should have still paid you the ante bonus on that straight flush. Happened to me before there at strat and they still paid it. It’s not a common thing so I can see where they would get confused.

When you get a straight or higher , regardless if you win / lose you always get the ante bonus. So for the straight straight , you would have lost your ante + play but you still should have been paid 5 to 1 ante bonus for it. Without the Ante Bonus , Three Card Poker has a house edge of over 7% (which would make it one of the worst games ever). I think this is the second time this has happened to you guys, previous time was a straight over straight a few months ago. Hopefully the Strat will fix it next time you’re there.

Do the dealers really act this way when the camera is off? I ask because a lot of them seem to be fuzzy on their hands, Payouts, etc. they seem like very weak dealers.
