😊I love your channel because you're down to earth, and I think you enjoy talking to people as much as picking. Your such a nice guy. That is why your channel is my favorite.
Years back we used to have garage sales but with decent products it was irritating to get such low ball offers. Now we just donate to our local Salvation Army and Goodwill stores.
I don’t understand why people have sales and don’t have the prices labeled first. Then they haggle and get upset when people don’t want to buy it. If they just put the price in the first place it wouldn’t be an issue.
It is time consuming but it's a big turn off if nothing is marked or no signs or colored stickers. I feel like it's being lazy. The last thing I want to do is ask how much for everything I'm interested in. It is a time waster in my opinion.
@@jiminlover8212 As a person who spent their working career in sales and is now reselling, sellers putting prices on items is no big deal because either way, I enjoy haggling and negotiating the price. It appears that much of the younger generation has difficulty with this and they do not want to work on their negotiating skills.
Film cameras are collectibles now.(LOL) The fun part is getting the film. Heck, some digitals are. Found five tag sales this weekend, and an estate sale. Hit four of the six and spent $29 total. It is ROUGH out in my end of the woods for pickers. We get maybe 4 good weekends for tag sales all year, and a good one is one normal week for Kevin. (sigh) At the estate sale they were selling a huge vintage jewelry box for an eye-popping price. Empty. THey were "afraid of people stealing it"...said in a condescending tone. (that's why you put it somewhere with people watching it...not that any early bird resellers swipe costume, or anything else.) Dang I wish we got Virginia tag sales here.
Phil Vassar had some absolute bangers back in the y2k era! I always liked "just just day in paradise". 24 years after that song came out, I'm living it 😂 Six pack summer and little red rodeo were good ones too.
Kevin, my husband and I enjoy watching your videos. We were both corporate sales executives and retired early to do this, and have been doing this for 20 years now! Some advice on negotiating, talking less is more. Once you give your price, don't back out and give a higher price before the customer has a chance to respond. Most likely, they would have settled at the lower price. The art of negotiation is key in sales. All the best to you!
I always see film cameras at sales but never pick them up because it seems like too much work to get film and test them and don't really remember how to use them.
Lol it’s brand new in the box!!! Kevin pays pâté the man , yea I maybe sat on it 3 times, lol I keep all my boxes for majority of things, I’m gonna start saying that. Yea there brand new in the box I maybe wore them idk maybe 10-15 times 😂
I'm amazed to how some stuff can be worth it....I picked a collection of vhs at a local house sale....everyone thinks they got gold at home nowadays lol😅
I can understand why people do garage sales, but for that Harley guy, if he’s had that new stuff for a while, why not just just put it on eBay themselves…..is it bc they are computer illiterate(no offense) or just think eBay is too much of a beast to learn and deal with?
I choose to believe that man was having an epiphany at that moment. If you want Ebay money, you have to put in Ebay effort. Sure you could get lucky and the right guy or gal just happens to find your yard sale, but that generally (and apparently in this case) doesn't happen.
@@chrisf6765 Exactly. If he wanted $150 for that jacket, and there was a sold comp for over $200, he could have listed it for $200, and it would have sold quicky, and with fees shipping etc wouldn't have been hard it's just a jacket you can fold up and ship, he would have profited $175....
I picked up three Harley jackets at a flea market last year for a couple hunnies. Didn’t make a ton off of them, but I kept a brand new one for myself 😅
@@jeremynovak471 Ok for you to be wrong but not others. Just holding you to the minor mistake that you made. It's still wrong there Mrs. English teacher.
I don’t think people wanna be on camera when they’re out in the morning. It’s their day off and you got a camera in everybody’s face. You’re a businessman and you’re buying items. I surely don’t want this guy putting my face on it’s actually a felony to buy stuff on the side of the road. I know you don’t believe that, but The Taxman will be watching people that had their home Broke into will be watching for Stoneman items. But why would I want you putting my stuff on front Street? It’s interesting because the government can watch every house you go to and see what these people sell. The government wants everything reported under Biden over $600 has to be reported so I’m wondering if these people appreciate you putting them on front Street, could you imagine a new anchor at your garage sale? What’s the difference? He’s telling you what these people have if you’re a gangster, you can see their layout
You wheel and deal like I do lol man loads of stuff loads of resellers. Why don’t you sell what you have and save your money lol I’m saving 100’s by not buying because I have loads of things to sell plus I’m retired now like no pressure just don’t like putting up with clutter because I don’t pay for storage or shipping
Could gang members be watching your channel so they can scope out homes. It’s interesting. They were doing that with LeBron James but you’re giving everybody a Birdseye view of their home. You’re showing the front door you’re showing the back door you’re letting everybody know what these people make a year by the items they’re selling, you’re asking for collectibles you’re just like Front man you’re in every bedroom even the panties drawers who would want that big-time lawsuits if people have their home Bro into? Actually on private property filming inside peoples homes.
why kevin do u always stabs Harry tornado?like the golf club? harry tornado has never said anything about you? please follow the "golden rile" do unto others as you want done to you" or if nothing nice to say-don't say nothing at all! thx joy from phx
It is sarcasm. I speak with Josh often. There is no ill will at all. He has always been kind to me and His wife is awesome. I look forward to playing golf with him soon.

Time. Very few people price around here. Takes too long
Where I live, everyone prices their items. All the years I've done rummage sales, it really is a lot of work!!

That bdu was green in the inside those are the good old ones...
Isn't it wild how the kids are bringing back film cameras and flip phones?
it all comes full circle
Instax cameras, aka modern polaroids, were extremely trendy several years ago.
