Hello, I'm Grey42 and 262 days ago I’ve started to play piano and created this channel. I'm making piano covers of popular songs with the visualization. You can use it as tutorial and learn how to play songs on piano. Thats my cover Gary Jules - Mad World.

Hey man so I know imp kind of responding a lil late but I'm one of them people who can learn piano incredibly fast, I learnt mad world in a matter of 1 to 30 min which made my mom know that I kind of needed a piano teacher, I took several lessons for about 6 months until I got a new music teacher who made me loose all motivation in piano. I just remember this song so i searched it up and went to my dusty old piano, It took a few tries but I got my spark again.
long story short anyone can learn how to play the piano but everyone learns differently, I was blessed with learning in a lot of different ways and quickly other may need to learn more slowly but it cant hinder you from getting really good at playing piano.

I played this song just now not all the song but i can play the full in 1 daye
a week or two ? lol
I was working on the other piece but the rythm was way to hard for me to learn it fast. So I decided to take a break from it and learn something easy.

@@kingpluto4139 I can't read sheet music. I'm using sythesia, looks how other pianists play or just play by ear.
Pratice methods are metronome playing, scale and arpegios. I want to add some finger exersizes and solfeggio later, but I'm not quite sure how it will be)

sam mcm Same... I feel you, but keep practicing. Use an app called SimplyPiano. If you don’t want to buy the premium, go online and search up tutuapp and click the link and download the app. Then search tutuapp on it
I'm self taught and been playing a year and a half now. Trust me, after a while of practice this stuff is easy.
Yep I tried to play the original harder version and learned it til the 1.30 mark. Over there the left hand rhythm completely changed and I just gave up and learned this easier version instead.

Well done Grey, especially when playing for so little time! You have the timing and everything, which is one of the most important things when playing piano. However, one thing I noticed in your video's (correct me if I'm wrong) is that you either keep the sustain pedal pushed in during the whole song or you add sustain afterwards; very often you can still hear notes from the previous measure when in my opinion you shouldn't. So maybe that's something to work on ;) Overall very impressive, keep up the good work!

Go really slow. I couldn’t do it either. I kept trying and failing... my brain could not get it...but I kept trying and trying...finally something “clicks”, and you start doing it. Keep trying. Trust me

Hi Grey very impressed!!! i started to learn about 6 months ago question when you learn a new song how do you go about it ? Right Hand then left and both together or both hands and learn a few bars . Keep the vids coming
Check first where are the hard parts or measure to start training so you leave the easy masures or parts for the end of your practicing. Now each measure also divide into left hand or right hand first (which is difficult then you should start with) then practice the other hand then practice both together. Do the same for all other parts until your put the whole peace together
