I tested the U505 vs the pUDI yesterday. For me the decision was very easy. U505 the toe-strikes were incredibly unforgiving and felt terrible, plus it has a bulky look and it had quite a bit of fade bias for me. The I tried the pUDI and felt like it was more forgiving, better feel, better look, and I could flight it down and hit draws without even trying.
Got a SIM DHY 3i. It’s a tee only club for me, but very controlled in terms of left to right dispersion. It’s my go to when driver isn’t an option. Really like it.
I just replaced my Sub70 Cavity Back 4 iron (Modus 120x) with the SIM dhy 22* (Modus 120x) and couldn't be happier with the results. Higher launch (120 peak), higher spin, and carries the perfect distance.
Tried these today at a demo day and the UDI was a bullet, low runners. If I didn’t have the 3 hybrid in the bag I’d definitely consider one of these. The hybrid just gives me more versatility.
Still haven't found a driving iron to beat the Srixon ZX. Replaced my set 4 iron with the Utility 3 iron and weakened it up to 22 to fit the gap. Sits perfectly between my 5 wood and 5 iron.
Waiting on my new p790s to come in and I’m planning on adding a 3 or 4 in one of these two. I believe the dhy would work better for me, so I’m probably leaning that way, but I plan on demoing them first, plus I need to know the numbers I generate for gapping

I play a Tour AD IZ 70x in a 3 and 5 wood. Would you suggest the IZ hybrid 85x shaft for DHY or the DI hybrid shaft? Places around me don’t have options to fit these
Have issues with a titleist u500 2 iron where if I lean the shaft and hit med-high in the face, it’s like hitting a rock. I have to consciously not lean the shaft. Take it that’s not what you get with either of these?
Thank you, very interesting. But is the DHY made for the average golfer…? I’m not sure if anybody will be able to hit these clubs good enough to get the distance just as in your video. 😊😊😊🇩🇪
I’d love to see Ian try to trap one with the DHY too and see how easy it is to flight it. And maybe see if the left miss is more pronounced than with the UDI if trying to hit that low ball avoiding the right side
I didn’t realise just how many of these driving irons TM release.. it’s just too many surely? When most others release them every 2 years at most? Then some brands like Wilson Staff have stuck with the staff model for a number of years now? I’m sure they’re great products but I just think too many?
Hitting like 10-15 shots from different conditions on a golf course is way more valuable than hitting into a screen. Most reviews here are useless, you’re not putting the club to work in real world scenarios
Got the DHY and I could not be happier. One of the best short par 4 tee clubs I have ever used!

Always been UDI but went DHY this time around. Looks cleaner than the last DHY and gives the added forgiveness sometimes left to be desired in UDI.
