This is a rabbithole. I started with jekyll. It will end with a CMS like Ghost. Ghost is a fucking animal and an amazing one. It has enough to put in time to do stuff but competent from the get go so you can start with it right after half an hour spent installing. Requires a server. Best for non tech people to keep posting and a single person to set it up once.

Just got into Django/Python/html a few days ago; it's nice to see things familiar in this vid that continue to translate usefully, even if I don't always know exactly what the syntax means yet. Definitely going to have to make a website in the near future.

I would personally prefer to write things in Textile (its like markdown) and then converting all those to html (textile exists for python) with python script and appending css include to every html

What is your opinion on shells other than bash? For example zsh, fish, powershell, etc... Anyways fantastic video! Wonderful work, thank you for showing us the wonders of the command line!

Thank you for this helpful video! Just wondering, what server are you using, is it a VPS or self-hosted? If a VPS, do you recommend any?

Wow, i was looking for a framework just like this ... Just a lightweight, content focused website ... But my "research" just brought up Jekyll (the only one that was close to idea), so I implemented that.
