Actually, I believe dubstep was created in the late 90's in Europe. It was more for those transitioning from the metal scene and then became more popular through edm style music by the later mid 2000's. The dance, however, is still pretty new and was created here in the states by people like Nonstop. People still haven't agreed to its name yet, but my opinion is that it will eventually be accepted and called dubstep dancing because it is a multi-transitional style of dancing that uses many urban forms of dance techniques to fluidly move to the electro-beats of dubstep music.

They are awesome dancers, (the stuff on their personal YT channels is much better (whzgud) (poppinjohn)) but trying to make a living by getting sponsors and doing that has got to be tough. This little TV clip is literally them putting in work to get publicity and hopefully monies, and its pretty cringeworthy. I wouldn't be surprised if they think its cringeworthy as well. but its good publicity which is what they need to get sponsors or promote a personal brand/business
