Hi, to answer your question, I am less concerned about rust, than i am about chemical corrosion between the aluminum rivets and mild steel. All of these rivets will be painted or covered, also because this car will end up being a resto-mod it will probably never see the rain. - Don Glaze
Were the first metal brackets you installed for #4 mounting bolts ? I am doing a 65 roadster right now..... thanks for showing each step clearly....
Are you concerned about the steel rivets rusting? Will you paint them before covering them??
