Yeah its too close, i guess they can make it a bit closer to the sink side. They still have space a bit between them or maybe they can switch the place of sink and the stove
Ive BEEN binging van conversion videos and I think its time for me to get my own van because it is something I want to do and also want to travel the world sometime and not be limited to one place in one location with a mortgage!
While the van is pretty, I think it is highly dangerous and stupid to have an open flame cook top mere inches from the bed and all the flammable sheets and blankets.
@@vit.budina Good luck running those on solar power, without a disproportionate set of solar panels, batteries and a big solar inverter. Unless you have somewhere to plug in and take electricity (like a camping).
Apart from the stove problem that anybody pointed out, I think a small full cabinet in the same place you put the toilet would be a great place for a shower. You put the toilet inside, and you remove it when you use the shower. Anyway great built, I would just sacrifice a little of lounging space to a bigger kitchen and the separate bathroom.
What holds me back from building a van myself is my tiny high school student budget and the lack of free-to-park places in and around the town of mine.
Some strange decisions on this build. Stove right next to Mattress, dangerous. No access to cockpit from inside in case of emergency and you need to drive off. You'll regret blocking that off one day.
you are lucky you had the brains and the confidence to make this van. i hope it works out living in there and that it's not too cramped. I don't know how.
Love to watch and thank you for the content, but, the constant movement of the camera, blurring in and out of shots and the music are an unwelcome distraction. I remember some tv shows a while ago that used camera movement, and I stopped watching them as the swinging made me feel seasick, music makes it hard to hear, maybe drop the volumn. I think the camera should be an observer only and not a performer in the production.
I like the van but i think it might be safer to put the stove top on the other side of the counter top because the bed covers could easily set on fire or you could make a wind guard using plywood and metal to shield the flames and heat from the bed covers.
Turin Horse that means u havent seen other van life if u say this one is good, there is no proper bathroom and shower and the stove is too close to the bed.
My solution for all of this was an old (old to minimize getting robbed as I'm 25 alone and its much cheaper obviously) class A strapped with 1200 watts solar (still have roof space left to chill and picnic/campout) 900 AH lithium and a 53mph 80 mile range electric scooter (nanrobot LS7) for commute to town. It's not stealth ofc but neither is any van with a vent and solar so aside from saving a little mpg (I get 8 instead of my friends vans which usually get 12-15mpg) and having more difficulty maneuvering, the main factors is my 150 gallon fresh water 100 gallon gas tank and massive amounts of room for storing rice and beans. Also, getting stuck in the rain I enjoy chilling inside when my friends with vans often get claustrophobic when its raining nonstop due to being in a prison cell sized space. I also have a cat so he needs roam space inside when I'm busy and a van would be torture for him. Anyways hope this can offer some perspective
Also about getting stuck, theres lots of triple A style companies even for RV's that will have towing packages and lots of other safety nets to prevent getting stuck somewhere
I feel like you guys spend a bit too much on the interior for this size of a van.... but other than that this video was very inspirational! My husband and I are from the Netherlands and are finally at a point that we can save up money to buy a van and start this aswell! We are really on a tight budget though and want to start small. We are looking at the same set up for a shower and toilet because of the things going on with covid we feel like there's no guarantee gyms and public toilets will always be open.
“Got home from a really shitty day at work because I’m starting schooling”. Sounds like my ex wife. She got the house I got the van. Couldn’t be happier.
I really liked this van because of the extra seats! Sometimes people use the beds also as seats, i really dont like that! And the owners dont allowed the dog on the bed, GOOD! Im also a dog lover (living with 2 labradors), but the bed is mine!
I just decided I wanted to do this I have found many affordable vans. I just don’t know if I’m skilled enough to do this. 🤦🏾♀️ it’ll be a great investment or an expensive mistake. None the less. I’m almost sent free so I’m willing to take the risk.
Omg their bed next to the oven scares me but it’s a pretty cool van nonetheless
The first thing I thought also. 🔥🔥🔥
Same here! Switch the stove and sink and have better vent while cooking
Seriously I had to stop the video when I saw the comforter two inches from the stove
I was just going to say the same thing!!
Yeah its too close, i guess they can make it a bit closer to the sink side. They still have space a bit between them or maybe they can switch the place of sink and the stove

Ronald Campbell that’s awesome man! If you do decide to, good luck to ya!
Go for it and if you don't like it their will be plenty of houses and mortgages waiting for you. I'm in the same boat.
@@ItaintmeCCC Do it!!!
Hey that's how we got started on the idea, and now we're building our van! 😊😂
@@TheCovetedGroup How long do you think it's gonna take and how much is it costing you, if you don't mind me asking?

I thought the same thing, should have put the sink on that side. Hindsight is 2020!
Yeah, what I would use would probably be a plug-in induction stove since I don't cook that much. And maybe a microwave could come in handy...
@@vit.budina Good luck running those on solar power, without a disproportionate set of solar panels, batteries and a big solar inverter. Unless you have somewhere to plug in and take electricity (like a camping).
My thought exactly!
That is the first thing I noticed as well.
I adore how much they care about their dogs wellbeing

The comment section summarized:
“Good but do you have a death wish”
I love the solution to the dog bed. Just a folded up rug on the ground makes for a happy puppy!
This was amazing, except for the stove being wayyy too close to the bed. Other than that this was fantastic!
that proximity gives me ANXIETY. it was the first thing i saw the first 10 seconds into this video.
Hahahaha! LoL I just write the same exact thing!
*wrote
be careful! the bed looks kinda close to the stove top
That stove is too close to the bed covers. Move it to the left and build a solid wall on the end by the bed.
Yeah they should reverse the sink and stove, the van is too esthetic that it poses some dangers for the people who live there
They have a border collie with a "job" -- to be happy with them! Cute assessment about the dog. Sweet build.
Clean and tidy. Comfortable. What a beautiful dog.
The first thing that catch my eyes is the stove.. Even before I start the video 😂
What holds me back from building a van myself is my tiny high school student budget and the lack of free-to-park places in and around the town of mine.
Just do it. You'll figure it out as you go. That's part of this lifestyle. Either you're in, or you're not. Get off the fence and choose.

Love the couch at the entrance
I love this conversion. It's my style in so many ways.
Leuk om Belgen tegen te komen bij the vanlifers :)

YAAAAAAAS Lola YAAAAS
9:56 when she said So we can pass thru... I was like What???!!!
She means pass an item thru if someone is in the front and the other is in the back lol!
This is so sick, weve just started ours. Looking forward to it
Teddy&Co. I’m also just starting ... sound deadening is going in right now. I’m building all by myself, so it will take a while.
The music is so distracting when they are talking.
Stella Sirius yea, why is it that so many vloggers think they need to have background music.
Then maybe don’t watch it?

I saw a tons of van life videos, and this is one of my favorite!!!!!! So simple and and amazing
Why havent put a barrier between bed and stove and a ventilation fan??
That cook top is way to close to the bedding but otherwise Nice! Very cozy. Thanx for sharing!
Nice build but misleading title - no bathroom and no shower!
Yes there is!
Nicely done, maximizing the potential of that van
Very nicely done!
Where do you throw your grey water?
great video but can you increase the brightness ?
The thumbnail is more attractiveness and appealing than the actual visual content of the entire video...
The stove too close to the bed.It may catch fire and no fire extinguisher ?
It's very nice, but I think I'd prefer a proper inside shower and toilet. Your dog is lovely - what breed is she? Happy travels! 🚐
Awesome build! We have a 2018 Promaster we are currently working on, great ideas thanks for sharing!
Maybe you could put a small wall between the stove and the bed, so you don't catch fire?
Next conversion... how about a pontoon boat to a house boat!
Awesome and inspiring!
The stove 🤣💀🔥
🤯😳guys have seen what I saw the bed sheet nearest to stove ..OMG!! So dangerous .why not put something in the middle...😳
Cute couple. Well done van.. 👍👍
Hey everyone! hope you ding well
Welcome to my channel for more VanLife inspiration!
What kind of dog is that. Cute. Looks like a fox
She must be part border collie, mixed with another race I think. She s really cute 😍
@@BoFlght She's 100% Border :-).
Coocking area touching bed??? Bad idea
The only thing holding me back is the money to build a van or bus
I'm saving little by little with a $500/month job and homeless. You can do it! I want a can SO bad.
Awesome job
awesome build and great video but EEEEEK THE STOVE T_T
very well done. definitely one of the best designed vanlife's ive seen
Turin Horse that means u havent seen other van life if u say this one is good, there is no proper bathroom and shower and the stove is too close to the bed.
Welcome to Portugal! Enjoy your house in trip to Costa Vicentina, love your work!
beautiful van!
Which length boxer is this?
I think it's the L3 H2
The worry is enough money to never go hungry while on the road, room for supplies, getting stuck miles from help, or getting robbed
Or being in a collision!

Great price here in usa they go for 35 to 60 k
Yes, I can't understand what they are saying. Maybe it's the music.
Music is so distracting and totally unnecessary🙄

They should have put the sink next to the bed and the stove should be on the other side. Sheets are flammable. Thats pretty dangerous.
Welcome to Portugal.

The cooktop beside the bed😒👎👎👎
Awesome so cute like and 😍
Yeah put the burners next to the bed...
That was the first thing I noticed when she opened the door. Not going to end well
Good
Nice idea the shower in the middle of the bed room so u make all wet around ahahahha
Wow the cook top is just 5cm next to the mattress linens......
Are you still sailing?????????????????????
wow, some fellow Belgians!
I know I was so happy when I saw the Delhaize bag and the street in the pictures aha 🥰
I really want to talk about some fellow Belgians about vanlife! How do you handle the legal part?
België!!!!! 🇧🇪
It is so fun to recognise everything from their pictures. Even the Delhaize bag!
I wish I can find someone to build it with...
3.48 cooker too close to the bedding. Danger of fire.
Good job except for the stove. Better the sink be there and the stove by the door. I would rather a little water splash on the bed than fire!
The stove top right beside the bed is kinda weird and I don’t I mange very safe. And what about food splashing onto the bed?
Ik moest even de klik maken bij die belgische nummerplaat.
That stove gonna burn the mattress
That is going to start a fire 🔥 with your burner right next to your mattress!! Yikes!
Video is great but the music in the back grown takes away from what the couple is telling about the van refit.
Sheep dogs are great.. They are alert like geese..You can't sneak up on them...
the scale i the drwos
OMG im so concerned when i saw your gas burners so close to the bed clothes, WAY TOO CLOSE TO THE BED i would change that set up for sure
Nice but why always a big dog that sheds.
The only dog that doesn't shed is a hairless dog...
Stove is near mattress pls shift it some where else it's dangerous..
I'm scared to finish watching this ...no no no no!!
Really she made that sward herself? I thought she had a blacksmith forage it! 🤭🗡
they should've washed it for the vid
