- Hello and welcome to the stunning aerial footage of the Island Sifnos part of Cyclades archipelago, 3 hours by ferry from Piraeus Athens, Greece.
Sifnos, a great island in the Cyclades, is known for its charming villages and stunning beaches and traditional cuisine. Apollonia, the island's capital (Chora), offers a lively atmosphere with narrow streets, vibrant cafes, and panoramic views. Nearby Artemonas is a peaceful village with traditional architecture and great views of the Aegean and the valley of the island. Going east you’re facing Kastro, a medieval hilltop village, features cobblestone streets, Venetian ruins, and breathtaking sea views and amazing chapel on the cliff.
For beach lovers, Vathy is a calm bay perfect for swimming, while Faros offers quiet beaches and fresh seafood. The bustling port of Kamares is the island’s main gateway, with a deep lagoon, high mountains and long beach.
From there you can see Agios Symeon, a small monastery perched above the island, offers stunning panoramic views, especially at sunset. On another mountain you can find an amazing heritage Mycenaean acropolis of Agios Andreas that was built the during the Bronze Age and combines archeological site and the church nowadays. Sifnos is a perfect blend of history, culture, and natural beauty that you can visit and escape from crazy city life on the continent.

Awesome. What drone were you using and did the strong winds affect flying? I notice morning filming, I guess it was calmer in the morning?
I used DJI mini 3. It was October. The winds are strong but mountains and landscape helped. The most difficult part was Kastro
