Great job on covering this George, these analysis videos on big names deserve more recognition for the amount of time and effort you put into dissecting the history of the figures involved; this episode in particular I'd say is extremely important for how relevant Tucker Carlson is in mainstream media on and off the internet. For a protestant he certainly does a lot of lying, and knowing Christianity, he'd have a straight way ticket seat to hell, and I wouldn't shed a tear if that were the case. But he knows that stuff is bullshit, otherwise he wouldn't have the career he does now. But by far the worst aspect of this is how despite the majority of people not buying into this nonsense, there are still those that believe in him and are willing to give him their time, money, and effort just to feel safe or better about something they don't know are nothing but ridiculous lies. I deeply venerate you on your efforts for making these type of videos.
Nah this is dishonest. Tucker doesn’t pretend to be poor. His questions about the election are legitimate, but he knows that some of the theories were bunk. Ashley Babbitt was murdered. The capitol police officer was not. About every single point in the video was false or disingenuous
Wish more people understood this. The worst part about USA rapidly falling apart isnt the poverty, corruption, or death of children- it's the opportunism.
George's barely contained rage at these vile grifters fuels the whole video. Well done on channelling it into a clear-headed piece. We're all prey to these dysfunctional sociopaths, and it sounds like they'd watch the planet burn before they'd cede a scintilla of their power.
@@LordmonkeyTRM Georg indeed! Look... You look like my level of pedant (intended as compliment) so maybe I should ask you. Embarrassingly, I normally love Georg's work but I couldn't make head or tail of the assertions he was trying to make about Officer Sicknick. My reading thus far (admittedly underpinned by Wikipedia) doesn't seem to support the CME or any other 'coronial' inquiry ruling his death as unnatural causes, but rather the contrary or at strongest 'undetermined'. Is he trying to say "this could fairly yet be determined to be murder or manslaughter" -and no more? I found this part of his video to be uncharacteristically turgid, almost bordering on deceptive...
Keep up the great work Georg! You can tell how many dimwits you've pissed off by the unusually high number of dislikes! I think it is a clear sign you're exposing the right things, man!
When 98% of media is the "one true religion" of propaganda, I'd imagine many people would drift towards the minority voice. I've heard Tucker's name, but never seen his show. A slander-piece like this makes me want to see it. Any idiot that still thinks there are two "sides" will believe *ANYTHING* the flickering screen says.
The downvotes just might have something to do with Georg's views on the most fortified election ever, but I'm just guessing. You take a stand for either side, you get the hate.
I took a (Equivalent) senior high school course in Journalism. One month, we were TOLD to write a review on a Football (Soccer) game and I protested, saying "I don't know much about Football, is it okay if I write a review on an alternative topic?' and my teacher said, in no coddling, "as a journalist, you are often required to write about stuff you don't believe in." And INSTANTLY my love for journalism died. Give me Hunter S. Thompson any day
Great video. I would argue however that the repeal of the fairness doctrine did at least build the ground work for Tucker. Sure, Fox News wouldn't be controlled by it, but it would have stopped many radio stations from turning into a bunch of right wing mouthpieces. I think in the end this did build the viewership that Fox (and Tucker) later capitalized on. Would that audience still exist in some form? Absolutely. But I believe it would have been a much smaller and much more isolated veiwerbase. I think Fox has the middle-aged/elderly average joe viewer today because they were somewhat hypnotised by the right-wing radio they heard every day driving to work. Fox News just entered their life as an extension of that media space that they can now come home to and watch from 5 pm to 12 am. "The Brain Washing of My Dad" is a good documentary that discusses some of this.
It was pretty thin. Half the video was spent talking about who his mummy and daddy were and where he went to school. For a hit piece there wasn't much of an impact. Or much of anything really. I'm sure there is a lot more could be said about him being insincere, etc.
I'm inclined to agree. I'm always prepared to be wrong and hope to learn better... But the more I look into Georg's bold comments about 22:55 the less I understand their basis. And I look in the comments here for an explanation or reply... Crickets. It's like he hasn't even so much as opened Wikipedia on Officer Sicknick's case, or certainly not read the section on misinformation about his death. And apparently virtually none of his viewers have either. That page is very well cited. And then, my careful explantation posted in other comments is long, sure, and maybe for this reason, has no replies. But... nobody else noticed this?! This isn't tick-tock! Wherever I look, I see referenced no ME claiming murder or manslaughter (as heavily implied by Georg) - merely one leaving the door open for the injuries as a contributing factor. From what I read the death was ruled as natural causes by the OCME Washington. The relevant charges all relate to assault it appears, albeit with a rightfully heavy sentence. But... Facts. Evidence. If we're to buy into the idea of the justice system and CME operating under an establishment bias, why would they not call this a homicide and prosecute it as such? Should Georg be picking out a bowtie for himself? Happy to eat humble pie here but thus far haven't heard from him on any explanation.
Honestly I just think Carlson lacks nuance, he's said things I've found to be hilariously spot on but he also omits alot of context. He's the kind of person to talk about the rising costs of everything, and focus on the impact that has on Americans, but he'll ignore the war that's causing the gas prices to inflate, and he'll ignore talking about the rampant diseases at factory farms causing our food prices to skyrocket. Then it's all left up to viewer interpretation so they go straight after biden, and that's not to say Joe doesn't shoulder some blame, but he isn't solely responsible for our current strife much in the same way trump wasn't solely responsible for the strife we went through during his presidential term. He's a guy who provides news to people who don't read multiple sources or dig too deep so it just creates an echo chamber, even though some of what he says isn't that far off, but it spins a narrative and loyal dimwits buy it, much like CNN. No news outlet tells you the news anymore, it's an opinionated twist on events and they'll leave out or discredit the parts of the story that dismantle their limited narrative. Which isn't good because most people aren't actually smart enough to see through the BS.
you might want to add in an acknowledgement that the fire extinguisher isn't verifiable (now considered a fabrication) and the coroner did conclude no evidence of blunt force trauma... otherwise a decent video.
@@vandalcreed You appear to be correct. I simply see zero evidence of his bold assertions here (22:55). But then again I'm probably being duped, no doubt, by the far right siren calls of the OCME and Wikipedia. 🤷🏻♂️ WTAF, Georg? This isn't like saying "on Rhode Island" instead of "in". More bothersome is the lack of anybody picking this up. I'm always happy with correction if someone can direct me but... Well, Georg appears to have blundered badly here.
This needed to be a careful, measured take down. I simply didn't see that. With huge emphasis on linage and seemingly glaring factual errors or plain misdirection around Chief Medical Examiners' findings and comments on the awful assault of Capitol Officer Brian Sicknick, facts seemed to be left well out. This looked almost as Tucker as Tucker. If Georg is going to "pay targets in kind", he needs to make very sure he puts an obvious partition between his parody and his news narrative; between himself and his target.
Fantastic research and background info. I appreciate all the work that must have gone into this video. It must have been a ton of hard work. But it depresses the shit out of me. So... thanks?
"Fantastic research" = saying Brian Sicknick was hit with a fire extinguisher. A crazy, completely fabricated conspiracy theory and misinformation. If we had a functional country they should be able to sue you for libel.

When I found this channel I was a bit apprehensive because I’ve loved channels who turned out to have bigoted ideas before, but I’m glad that this channel isn’t like that.
I can't begin to recount the amount I personally have lost due to Tucker Carlson, Sean hannity, and the few other talking heads who obviously can't believe in what they're saying. But who reach out and put fear into people in the last years of their lives. I know it's been a rough few years for everybody so I try not to complain. My grandmother died right before covid, my mom had surgery 3 days before it hit the United States and I spent over 300 nights that year at the hospital sleeping in my truck because they told me she could die any minute. She passed away October 2022. I never knew someone could live that long and be that close to death. My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 2 months later. And can't have much time left. That will be my last blood family member. At least any that I'm aware of or have ever met. In each case, the three people who raise me and that I loved so much.... The head so much hope and care for the future. Not just for themselves or for me but for anyone regardless of their beliefs, color, orientation... Whatever. In the last years of their lives became seething pits of despair, rage, and above all fear. I'm not talking about just a normal old folks stuff or whatever. No this revolved around... They're entire days and every conversation they had for the last 3 to 5 years of their lives... Revolved around Tucker, the 700 club, Sean hannity, O'Reilly before his downfall, rush obviously... And a few others. It affected how they treated everyone around them. If I didn't stand up and profess my agreements.... It genuinely affected their view of me. Even though they've known me over 30 years and know I'm not an idiot. (Well not a complete idiot) If there doctors and nurses were anything but white Trump supporting straight conservatives... The way they acted around them, talked about them as soon as they left, and obsessed over there differences to themselves... Broke my heart worst than any illness or anything I had to attend to. It just destroyed me to see this happened to every adult that raised me. Two of which were in church three days a week, my mom taught eighth grade Sunday school for 20 some odd years... And even though they sent me to a fairly conservative and strict Christian school and I had a somewhat strict childhood... There was a lot of love and wisdom in my upbringing. Not only did it all disappear and leave them and everyone around them in despair and depression... But it went so much further in the other direction that I didn't even know it was possible. These people were educated. They were students of history... At least two a point where they would have previously seen the patterns leading up to Trump. And how it's just a repeat of history. The few times I tried to show them irrefutable proof... They just called it a conspiracy. Court transcripts, email and text transcripts, even video of these before mentioned talking heads. The first time I heard the quote from Fox News hosts about "no one in there right mine would take this as fact. This is satire and only a crazy person would believe this".... As a defense in court... They still wouldn't even consider the possibility. Wouldn't even consider the possibility that maybe there was information they didn't have. I've rambled on enough, and I don't mean to be unfair. These people were at the end of their lives, two of which are over and one of which is soon to come. All of them stuck in a terrible situation not just medically but family wise. They're just isn't anyone else, and they had to watch the few close relatives and even children they had... All go down to path of mental issues, drug addiction, premature death, and suicide and more than one case. So I get it... Everyone's in a dark place. But to grab onto something so hate to filled and evil. Evil to the point where You would be laughed out of a Hollywood pitch meeting for trying to portray someone like Tucker... Who has showed absolutely zero demon qualities and doesn't even seem to be human. I'm sure that's not the case but I'm sure he keeps it closely guarded. Not to go all Kanye West on you... But everyone does have her demon qualities. Darth fucking Vader had redeeming qualities. Some folks sure go out of their way too hide them. I don't know now I'm totally off topic. But I will never get over the bitterness and anger... The three adults who ever really showed me love and taught me anything... In each case... The last few years of their lives were completely snatched from me even though I was there every minute of every day caring for them and trying to come to terms of losing my whole family at once. It was excruciating. I'm probably just a little bitch..... And yes it was hard watching and get sick and die. But nothing comes close to the mental destruction that I couldn't even have a conversation about the most benign things with them. They couldn't have a conversation with anyone even each other. I've seen a lot of really bad deaths. Both sudden and prolonged. I grew up spending all of my summers in the forensic center and after more. Watching all topsies before I was 10 years old literally standing table side. Watching investigations where parents killed their own infant's children, somehow got out of prison because of a mistake, just to do it again and devastate all of the investigators involved. I would have panic attacks months after witnessing the autopsy of a decomposed body. Because after gym class.... I would jump in a hot shower only to be greeted by the smell of rotten flesh emanating from my pores and hair follicles. To which gave me multiple... I don't know panic attacks I guess. It was just like I was watching TV and then all of a sudden the channel changed and it was 20 minutes later and they were dragging me out on my back. I've never experienced anything like that again but let's just say I have more experience than I've explained... With very bad and dark things. I've seen some really sick shit.... And yes it affected me and I'm sure it still does. But nothing crushed me... Just took everything inside I thought I knew and cared about and pulled it out every day just to show it in a blender, and then pour it back down my throat. Hanging out on the cancer word a year and a half at a time without a break is kind of a bummer. But watching the only people you've ever cared about have their entire personality and mentality deconstructed and destroyed... Fuck man I don't know. But I don't just feel sorry for myself... It's happening to hundreds of thousands of people across America. This fear and fenum is being fed to them. Very similar to how the Nazis emblazoned fear into the German people. Fear and anger. It happened it doesn't have times throughout history. And every time it always leads to the worst things that have ever happened to humanity. It's happening on a scale now that is uncontrollable. And the United States obviously not the only one struggling with it. Facebook aunt's might be the joke here in America. But elsewhere it's WeChat uncle's. And yes I know that sounds funny but I'm not making that up. I will shut up now. I hope that no one has to see the ones they love grow old, angry, hateful, and afraid. There's enough to be angry and afraid of already.
The medical examiner ruled SickNick's death natural causes. He collapsed on Jan 6th and had two strokes in the hospital the day after January 6th. So as a doctor who regularly fills out death certificates I disagree, it's absolutely possible for head trauma to result in a stroke. But your crucial information on this video is wrong and I have serious concerns about your fact checking.
Wondered whether anyone else had noticed this, and had to look it up again to check that that was indeed the verdict (even the Capitol Police's own website concurs). Here, Georg sounds as though he wants the head injury narrative to be true. Disappointing, as I'm a big fan of his videos.
I’m a fan of Tucker and part of the fun of watching him is figuring out what’s really his own opinions and what’s pandering for his tv gig. I’d love to listen to an unhinged unfiltered Tucker.
"Tucker [Carlson] started out as a magazine journalist, very good writer, and something of an establishment type of conservative. He talks about this frequently. He pushed propaganda that today he never would have pushed. He was just sucked in by it, and then over time, Tucker became more and more disenchanted with the establishment, and so his show on Fox was quite different from the other shows on Fox... Tucker was different. Tucker was not following the script that a lot of people in politics follow." - Michael Knowles
The assumption that his viewers would know that he is being insincere is so dishonest when the audience that's being fostered are the ones that specifically cannot make that distinction.

His questions about the election are legitimate, but he knows that some of the theories were bunk.
Ashley Babbitt was murdered.

Lord Georg, you have made my day.
This was very interesting. I was not aware of a lot about his history and what he has said in the past.
Happy to eat humble pie here but thus far haven't heard from him on any explanation.
man i don't like has wrong opinion , wrong thinking makes Grug very mad huuuuuur Drag queen story hour GOOD
Honestly I just think Carlson lacks nuance, he's said things I've found to be hilariously spot on but he also omits alot of context.
The rich parents stuff makes for a very necessary context whenever he pulls out the populist country joe schtick
I love theater. It shouldn't be allowed in the news the same way I would say religion shouldn't be allowed in public schools.
you might want to add in an acknowledgement that the fire extinguisher isn't verifiable (now considered a fabrication) and the coroner did conclude no evidence of blunt force trauma... otherwise a decent video.

Yep so informed that he got the Brian Sicknick cause of death wrong.
@@vandalcreed You appear to be correct. I simply see zero evidence of his bold assertions here (22:55). But then again I'm probably being duped, no doubt, by the far right siren calls of the OCME and Wikipedia. 🤷🏻♂️
WTAF, Georg?

Wow! Triggered much? Go take your meds.
Damn dude that's some real heavy stuff. My greatest sympathies.

I was trying to guess whether it'd be bees or ants.

If he's being dishonest then Tucker Carlson is deluded 90% of the time - i.e. he actually believes falsehoods but broadcasts truthbombs unwittingly.
