    Should do a eBay vs Branded Injectors test
    Compare all the RB, 2J, LS ect injectors.

    The bosch 1100 that I have aint that good in my mind, I was thinking about upgrading to the 1600cc. Good watching this and seeing the volume test. now ill have to order a set.

    Anywhere I could find more details about this test rig? Like where did Quickbitz get the cylinders from and such. A friend and I are looking into building an injector test rig similar to this one.

    Whoa those Siemens!! Holy flow!! 😮😮. Ive got ID 1000s in my car that has been run mainly on E85 for about 3 years now. Ive never let it sit unstarted for too long but it might be good to send them down to quickbitz to have them tested 🤔

    We got quickbitz to service our bosch 2200cc after we had low fuel pressure from sugared up fuel filters. Did a great job and they came back within 2% suprising considering theyve been on e85 for 4 years and theyre not supposed to be good for them

      E85 generally does not cause fuel system related problems. The main problem is under sized systems and around 1000 horsepower needing triple electric pumps....

    It's all very good to have a matched set of injectors, but how balanced is the airflow to each individual cylinder, particularly with a turbo setup where the air enters one end of the inlet plenum? You could of course watch the EGTs of each cylinder and trim the duty cycle each injector so the temps are all even, but then that would undo the effort of matching the injectors in the first place. Not saying that matching the injectors is pointless, just that after all that work if you don't also have identical airflows per cylinder then you are only halfway there.

    whats a respectable percentage to have them out by? my injectors were out 1.47% at low duty cycle and 2.37% at high duty cycle

    Adjusting fuel flow when adding a turbocharger to an N/A engine to prevent starving the engine is important but isn't increasing fuel injector pressure needed to over come the higher manifold and/or cylinder intake pressure caused by the compressed air?

      That is important too, usually you use a referenced fuel pressure regulator so if you run 10 psi of boost your fuel system pressure should increase from 43.5 to 53.5PSI So a particular duty cycle provides the same fuel flow regardless of boost or vacuum

      Yes, this is why you must look at the pump curve when choosing a fuel pump. Wally 255 curve doesn't cut it at high boost pressures. You can choose larger injectors at lower pressures, more robust pumps, or a combination of the two. Many setups for racing use mechanical pumps.

    Take note street tuners, if you aren't doing this or monitoring individual cylinder AFR or EGT you may be as much as 7% different. If you are low $ it and using used, untested, unclean injectors, decapped injectors, or even a carburator there could be even more difference. When you see your heroes on YT holding 12.0:1 on pump know that they have the fuel system and consistent load to do that. If you target a little fatter and a little less spark you'll give up a bit of power for a lot of piece of mind. To finish first, first you must finish.

      Once you have the numbers, you can resell matched sets to other folks, cover your costs. Spendy to start doing, not that expensive to keep doing.

      Inductance, measured in Henry's, or milli Henri's Is far more accurate in testing Injectors as it not only tests the solenoid, but also any "resistance' to the pintle sliding within the guide.

    ffs, you completely fail to demonstrate that there's a difference in them same batch injectors.
