Heck yes, I love my ATLAS throttle lock! Good to see other folks using this product, I don't understand the hate it gets sometimes (usually user error). It looks like you went for the bottom mount. I got the opposite, for me it's easier to access the cancel button with the top mount. Did you have this installed for your longer rides? I hope it was a wrist-saver!
I did, and I use it alot!!
the MC Cruise may cost 600 but that is electronic and comes with a controller that tucks inside the head light nacelle, I'll keep the Atlas for now I'm going on a trip to MS if it becomes to much of a pain in the ass to keep readjusting then I'm going with the MC Cruise.

How did it workout?
@@TheBuddy303 sucked trip was good but the Atlas did live up to my exaptation, i would set it but it would slip and not keep a constant speed, especially going over the expansion joints on the hiway. i would pay the extra money and go with the MC Cruise.

@@TheBuddy303 depends on the road, it was not totally useless it did provide some relief, just not what I was expecting.

Idk what's up with my throttle lock but it's way to loose after a few hundred miles and now I don't even bother with it anymore
Sadly, mine has broken twice since this video. I ended up getting the MCCruise cruise control.
mine works when standing still but when I'm riding it seems to back off slowly and I have to keep on readjusting it.
So, I don't take my hand completely off, I set it and rest my hand on it and that's probably why it works well for me.
@@dadwithabike next time use it try and take your hand off and see if it backs off slowly, I'm interested to see if it does or maybe I just don't have it on there correctly.

Was considering one of these for my Bobber as well. Is it possible to position it so that the buttons are easier to access when the throttle is on or does the brake lever block you from positioning it further back?
It is fairly easy to reach them but you can easily move the throttle if you need to decel or adjust your speed
Does it auto release if you twist the throttle?
It doesn't auto-release but you can twist the throttle while it is engaged.
@@dadwithabike that sounds pretty sketch during emergency braking procedures. I believe most of the aftermarket electronic ones disengage throttle when brakes are applied.
@@gmcrusher77 It doesn't fully lock, the throttle is still moveable.
Looks like a horrible and awkward way to disengage it while i drive in to the back of a truck

@bobodyuknow probably not having the throttle pulled all the way back when you set cruise control, cause who does that. And yeah it'll Rev at a decently high RPM for maybe 5 seconds max, better than slamming into something....

@@bobodyuknowwhat happens is you gain control of your speed and brake. Or you can worry about redlining and hit the back of a truck in your made up scenario.
This lock is not successful,
It just unlock itself and it needs the rider to disable it.
So dont buy any of such product.
