Great video, mine is coming preinstalled but it's great to know how it's all put together just incase I change my mind and remove them for example. Thanks for leaving in mistakes too.
I am also going to install the panniers myself, but yesterday I screwed up things. I managed to damage the M8x30mm bolt. Luckily I got the bolt out, but now I need to find a new bolt. In the installation manual it shows that you have to replace the silver bolts with the bolts included in the kit. They have the same length, but the head of the bolts are smaller than the silver ones. You also need a 5mm allen key to tighten them and not a 6mm allen key used on the silver ones. My question is, could I use the original silver bolts for mounting the kit?

Ohhh... after watching your videos, I'm even more want to buy the new 900GT to replace my 2015 Tracer900 :3 But, there's no where to buy it in my country yet.. BYW, nice color ;3
The hard cases are included as part of the "GT" package, no matter where you are in the world. I just took delivery of my Tracer GT yesterday here in Canada. My side cases came separately as well, and I will be doing my own installation also.

Aqui no Brasil o modelo GT foi lançado recentemente ( cerca de 2 ou 3 neses)....as concessionárias não tem nem a mota para vender....quando perguntamos sobre os side cases a maioria nem sabe que na Europa é oferecido junto com a moto.......por isso perguntei sobre algum link de concessionária conhecida sua ai pra eu tentar importar para o Brasil.....apesar que ainda não comprei a minha Tracer GT...mas ja quero deixar tudo programado pq provavelmente a comprarei....gostei muito da moto....minha atual é uma Tiger 800.....abraço e obrigado pela atenção

I though cases was included with the 900 GT version.
Yamaha 900 GT in Norway are the cases included.
I believe they are included, what i understood was, they did not had them in stock so they delivered them after the bike.

I'm still more of a fan of the Givi Dolomiti bags on the tracer. I too am very much thinking about trading up to a GT.

Olá. Estas malas são vendidas juntamente com a mota, mas eu decidi montá-las eu próprio para fazer o vídeo.

I bought a 2019 non gt tracer. I bought side cases. I can’t find the brackets anywhere. It’s as if Yamaha just stopped supporting a 5 year old bike.
Man, I was sure you misplaced something the moment you started complaining about it not fitting properly :D Glad you realised your mistake.
Learned my lesson, next time I'll check for mistake as soon as I feel like complaining!! :D

Oh buddy, installing the brackets onto the passenger pegs while they were still off of the bike would have saved you a lot of grief.
I followed the instructions on the first (right) side, but I did like you said on the other side.
I always start off doing it wrong then get it correct directions are never that good lol
