It’s so crazy because Matt Ogle and my dad bowl together in a Saturday league. So cool to see a man that I loved watching bowl 20 feet from me is now on live television bowling with some of the best.

I look back at the final match and it bums me out. Brad blew it big time missing that single pin spare and pulling quite a few shots. I've checked out their channel and you can tell that Kyle is the much stronger bowler.

I don't know if belmo apologized to rash for that bottle incident, but he should.. Matter fact he should do it on TV when he's going against him. It'll show professionalism, gratitude and maturity.. Belmo I can tell has grown alot. He use to be real cocky, but in the last year or so he's been more mature and calm.

  • @dham99

You know...as good as every one of these guys are...I'll bet the single pin misses are attributed to the newer style of bowling. I have a very high rev rate (unclear as to what it is..) but I have a hard time shooting straight because of my style. The 10 is really hard for me because I curve so much. Using a very slow lefty shot with a right spin... it works 95% of the time but its unorthadox.
I really like seeing new players on here, even if the elites dont win everyone knows they're good and its no big deal... but its exciting seeing a new player pop up and get cheered on by their families and friends. I love bowling the more i watch it and have been playing for the last 4 or 5 years now every week.

James is 100% correct. Marshall Holman had been in the bowling game in the mid 70's & his commentary on CBS Sports & ESPN in the 1997-1998 & the 2000 era. Here's a question for you. Do you think that Rob Stone can BOWL just like the hall of famer Marshall Holman? Absolutely NOT. Because Rob isn't a good commentator as well from Marshall & just in case if you know or do not know about Mark Roth. He had not won a Firestone Tournament Of Champions & he also went to go against Earl Anthony & he did lost at the 1981 Rolaids open at Dick Weber Lanes. And his 7-10 split in 1980 was the very first ever! Rob actually didn't know about Mark's history at first & Marshall too. No need for debate but both are the true pioneers of the PBA. Randy & Marshall are the great bowlers from the past.

so stop bowling on house shot? people are winning titles with urethane every other week. various pros including chris barnes have talked at length about how plastic ball tournaments are the easiest ones they've ever bowled because you simply do not have to make the crazy adjustments you have to make in today's game. what were you saying about ball technology again?
scoring pace is and always will be overwhelmingly dictated by the lane condition. you can take a 230 house shot hero and make him average 150 with a flat reverse block pattern. i see it every week when i bowl sport league and tournaments on sport shots. if ball technology has "ruined" bowling, why is what i just described possible? shouldn't you be able to just grab the most expensive ball you can find and shoot 300 every game regardless of the lane condition?
