Tamers was by far the best written Digimon series ever. I couldn’t see it as a kid cause I was pissed adventures had no continuation, but I realized when I rewatched Tamers a few years ago how impressive the story, characters, design, animation & of course the score was. RIP Wada Kouji you’re a legend !
Back to the topic, Unfortunately Tamers was hated at launch, mostly because of the new characters, setting and direction. The same issue applied with Frontier but that got even more dislike because of the children turning into Digimon instead of getting partner Digimon. Unlike Frontier though, Tamers DID see some success post-launch for how grim and dark it truly was, combined with a compelling story and narrative.
And here i am 30+ years old, taking inspiration to keep on fighting in life from one of my favourite childhood song. It really hits a different chord when you are now an adult listening and actually understand the lyrics with life experiences. R.I.P Wada Kouji, what a legendary song to leave behind as legacy 🥹
Digimon was the anime that made me realize what separated anime from the rest of the world's animation. Awesome opening and insert songs. "The Biggest Dreamer" was so awesome that even a relative who never watches anime could only marvel at how beautiful the music was.
Oh, and this song is also the theme song to Digimon Rumble Arena. It was weirdly awesome when I saw the OG JP opening for that game and heard this for the first time...
in the Arabic version they kept the rhythm and even more they tried to keep the meaning of the lyrics 😮 I’m surprised.. but the original one is an epic 🥰

The new Digimon Liberators has Impmon in it but since it's a new continuity, it has a different evo line and merges the looks of Impmon and the Growlmon line. I love it and I'm here to bring more attention to Liberators as a whole lmao.

Beautiful. 💙 But for some reason I remember listening to another Japanese version almost 20 years ago that sounded a bit different, partly with different lyrics and partly the rock sound was "a bit" different. Are there two different versions of this or did I mix something up?
There are actually other versions on Spotify. I was looking for this one, but actually just "Kyo Kimura" version and some few others were available. So it might be what you are talking about!
