  • I Shot JFK: The Shocking Truth is the milestone documentary about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, by Dutch producer Willem Jan Dankbaar, with testimony from the "man on the grassy knoll" himself, James E. Files. At first, reluctant to talk, Files eventually confessed, implicating organized crime members, Charles Nicoletti, Johnny Roselli, Sam Giancana and the CIA, as well as his own role in the crime of the century.

Here's what happened to me. In the year 2000, I worked for an emergency door repair service in Memphis Tenn. One Sunday afternoon I got a page from my office to go to an address in a suburb of Memphis. I went there and a man opened the door, he was in his middle to late 60's , had silver hair and was really fit and tanned. He was well dressed and wore a gold rolex watch.
He told me to follow him to the garage and he showed me the broken spring over the garage door and said, fix it, I don't care what it cost.
He was one of those guys that would stand there and watch everything you did. When people did that, it made me nervous so I would always start small talk while I was working. I asked him what kind of work he did and he said that he was retired. I said, where did you retire from sir? He said, I retired from the FBI.
I said, wow! That's interesting, thank you for your service, I always buttered them up because I didn't want them to freak out when I gave them the bill.
He kinda loosened up after I said that and we started talking, after a few minutes I was going to make a joke. So I said, well since you worked for the FBI, maybe you can tell me something, he said, what's that? I said, who killed Kennedy? I was chuckling and was joking around and I thought he would say, Lee Harvey Oswald killed Kennedy.
He looked me in the eye and said, Lyndon Johnson and Hoover had Kennedy killed. I was stunned into silence. I looked for him to say, gotcha! Or something like that but he was dead serious
I went back to work and got thru and didn't say anything else. I started thinking, this guy is nuts! He's not an FBI agent, he's crazy. So I handed him the bill and he said, come into my office and I'll cut you a check. So I went there and I looked around and there was all kinds of FBI diplomas and pictures and even a picture of him with Lamar Alexander.
I was flabbergasted. So I summoned up my courage and I said, sir,I just gotta ask you something. He stopped me and said, you don't believe it do you?
He knew what I was going to say, I said well I have a hard time believing the vice president of the United States and the director of the FBI would kill the President. He said, do you have time for a cup of coffee? I said, I'll make time. We went into his breakfast nook and he made me a cup of sanka coffee and he talked about 45 minutes. I didn't interrupt him once. Well, this is getting long and my eyes hurt. But everything I just wrote down here is true. I will say that 17 years later I was living with my son and I started watching UA-cam, one day I was looking for a video and saw a thumbnail that read something like, johnso, Hoover and Kennedy. I clicked on and it was a guy who had written a book and he was answering questions at a library somewhere and that guy said basically everything that FBI agent said to me 17 years before. The guy who wrote that book was Roger Stone. I had no idea who Roger stone was at the time. Well, that's my story. It's all true thanks for reading this

I cleaned windows for over 30 yrs. I got supplies from a good ol' Jewish man who told me of his service in counter- intelligence during WWII. he said, "Tony, there's so much you don't know, because it's been kept from you. I wouldn't even have time to get into what the Federal Gov't has kept from us. and half of people in Intel were Gay, or off their rockers, or both." I'm sort of retired now, I should drop in tho, and check if he's still w/ us. he was already 80 ish, 7 or 8 yrs. ago. I remember him saying that our Constitution was already in big trouble, when I mentioned the people who would, if they could, suspend it. (paraphrasing)"we're already stuck w/a watered down version of it"...something like that.

I believe that in the immediate timeframe after the Assassination; it was announced then, that ANY documentation, not yet then disseminated for general public knowledge, well, THAT stuff would be PENDING release, NO EARLIER than November 22, 2063, ONE-HUNDRED years after the event, when it should be assumed that everyone alive, in 1963, would be DEAD, most importantly, those who GAINED something from the event.

President Kennedy was hated by Lyndon Johnson, his vice president, by the Joints Chiefs of Staff, by the CIA (whom Kennedy had pledged to crush and scatter their dust to the four winds), and the Cosa Nostra. After the Cuban Missile Crisis, that was the last straw in their eyes. Between the Mafiosi and the Pentagon, I'm sure they decided he was a "clear and present danger" to the U.S. For me, it was the saddest day as a citizen of this country. If he would have lived, he was going to withdraw all 17,000 advisors in Vietnam. A lot died with John F. Kennedy. I'm 70 years old. I remember him.

When I watched it years ago, I received a comment from Lee Harvey Oswald's wife. She has written a book and spent most of her life trying to set the record straight about that day and her husband. I haven't read the book and don't know if she is being truthful, but the full version convinced me that this man is mostly telling the truth. I'm sure he's embellishing to some extent, but overall, I believe he was there.

I’m old enough I saw the then Senator Kennedy running for president in October 1960. The motorcade stopped near us due to a backup. I was 6 and on my dad’s shoulders. My dad knew the Teamster bosses riding in the open limo with Kennedy. My dad put me down, reached in and shook hands with Kennedy. My dad was all in for Kennedy and was glued to the television the day he was killed. We believed everything shoved downed our throats back then. Now, almost everything said by all politicians, both sides, is total BS.

I also noticed this in the film, but the angle that JFK's head moved indicates that while it came from behind, it wasn't from the TSBD. Files never mentioned this, but it is common that on such things, knowledge is compartmentalized ... one guy doesn't even know of the existence of others on the project. Files' descriptions of what he did know was compelling, and appears to be genuine, so I don't doubt it because of this. He does mention that he was told not to shoot unless it looked like the others had failed. That plus his knowledge of the 2 mafia guys in the TSBD, suggests there were multiple shooters. Many shots are claimed by many, many witnesses who had nothing to gain by saying this.

I have read scores of unofficial books about this, pro and con, and once even had a copy of the WCR. It was a long effort of looking at the probability of myriads of events, and the motives of those involved in various capacities. Never mind all the self appointed experts on who is bullshitting, this guy's testimony, his words, correspond to the things that had a high probability of being true. The Single Bullet Theory is not one of them.
The testimonies of actual eyewitnesses, common people who were there and had no reason to lie, generally fit together well, but the "official" process gaslighted or ignored them out of existence, or for those who were persistent, the death rate from suicide in the shower with 2 slugs in the back of the head, was orders of magnitude higher than any other form of death.
Those who believe the WCR apparently don't see a long string of "coincidences", each of virtually zero probability, or such a thing does not bother them, but they are willing to believe bullshit, and worship the bullshitters who make up the bullshit.

The woman in the red coat was the girlfriend of one of the motorcycle cops in the motorcade. After the shooting she was asked by the secret service and FBI how many shots she heard. I heard four shots...maybe 5. The feds told her she heard 3...She said no, I heard at least 4. Her boyfriend was next to her and figured it out and told her YOU HEARD THREE ONLY. A motorcycle cop who saw a guy hand a blanket wrapped object to a guy on a motorcycle up by the grassy knoll reported what he saw to the secret service and FBI...He answered his door two days later to get two 12 ga shots to his chest. They lost JFK'S brain after the post mortem...yeah right. The car sent the next day to have the front window replaced. JFK'S wife said later that she knew it was done by Lyndon Johnson and company. George Bush became the Director of the CIA a few months later. Figure it out.

In order for me to consider it to possibly be true, it needs some cornerstone facts. 4 shots, 2 shooters, one on the grassy knoll and one in the dal-tex building(likely 2/3 floor). Bonus points for a reasonable explanation for the botched cover up, a reasonable explanation for why the dal-tex shooter missed the 1st shot, and why there was multiple teams on site. The government needed someone to take the fall. Someone to take the attention away from the who was actually behind Kennedy's murder.
This is a high-profile murder to set in motion a war for Big Money government who needed to profit! Wake the hell up!
Someone had to take the fall. And it was Oswald.

11:04 Not saying this guy is credible. But there was a WW2 veteran on the grassy knoll with his two grandchildren that claimed he heard a bullet fired from behind him. He fought in places like Iwo Jima and had plenty of experience being under fire. The Warren Commission knew of his statements and never interviewed him. Whether he was right or not the fact he was never interviewed always made me question that report. Someone with his experience knows the sound of a round passing near him. Some people conducted a recreation using the same rife with an expert marksman and he couldn't get off three rounds with any accuracy in the same timeframe as Oswald did. That also made me question if there was another shooter.

Okay , there was a Second Shooter . Oswald did fire...the report reflects he hit the street , short of his target . It is consistent with a person- "without a doubt" not accustomed to firing at a target which is " Four Floors " below the firing position and it's a moving target ....only an AMATEUR would attempt this without hesitation and fail as predicated. I will tell you the weapon , itself , was 1) still classified experimental 2) of British Design 3) was firing actual Fragmentary Rounds - hence the Violent Nature of the Wound ect. was not an "F.M.J." so!atypical ordinance ? Street level shooter...after the first shots - a Secret Agent w/ an AR-15 locked and loaded / safety "Off" and Fragmentary Rounds in the Magazine and the Limo driver hesitated after responding quickly accelerated and then slammed on the breaks causing the agents hands to "grip in reaction" accidentally ...mortally wounding The President they are charged with protecting. accept this and go back over the testimony of witnesses that claimed the same experience yet never looked at the "Unthinkable Suspects" heard shots but nobody thought to suggest..."Friendly Fire" is it a term of endearment "Fragmentally" detrimental and disproportional MAYBE !!! it is the reason for the "Cover-Up"!
DON"T YOU THINK?....So!? Why Oswald was killed by "Jack Ruby" who walked into a FEDERAL INVESTIGATION and killed the Only Man who could have seen the whole thing and would have talked due to his situation and convicted the responsible party as he had fired 2 shots initiating the entire mishap!!! NOW YOU CAN KILL THE TRUTH - JUST AS EASY 3 words

If you deep dive into research on L. Harvey Oswald you will get the impression he was a patsy. In fact research shows at the time JFK was shot - Oswald was on his lunch hour at a movie theatre (where he was later apprehended) watching a movie. His rifle in the book depository (if it even was his) was either a lie and was never there or a plant. No witness in the book depository saw Oswald shooting anyone or even saw a rifle. their testimony was that he was on his lunch hour at a movie. Bush sr. was a CIA "operative" at the time and there is a picture of him in Dallas that day although he has always denied it. Jim Garrison of LA did in depth investigation found a lot of mafia involvement with the CIA and FBI at the time and they together did nefarious deeds like trying to assassinate Castro and other leaders. the Warren Commission lied in order to give a politically correct version of the murder. If what the Warren Commission concluded was the truth - the government files would have already been disclosed to the public - since the files are still Secret its because there is good reason to keep them Secret. Imagine if the public were told that a V.P. arranged with the CIA/FBI via the Mafia to have a legally elected sitting President murdered. Everyone knows there was more than one shooter in the JFK murder. Yet the government - trying to hide their own sins - has never publicly addressed that. Or any of the other unexplained questions regarding the JFK murder.

I was a newspaper boy when JFK was shot. My newspaper issued a flash free extra. As I delivered, on my route, not one person was outside on their lawns, driveways, even kids playing outside. No one. They were glued to their televisions.
I remember crowds on the street of the assassination, saying they smelled gunpowder. Well, don't you think that firing was close by?
At that time, 1963, the military's M-16, and civilian AR-15 was new. That .223 caliber bullet was high velocity, a lot more gunpowder behind a smaller bullet. In 1966, Army, I saw a demonstration of two water-filled 55-gallon drums, open topped and filled to the rim. An M-14 7.62 NATO round was fired through one drum. Passed through both sides, splashing a little water on top.
The M-16 .223 caliber round entered one side, a bullet hole the size of the bullet. Exit from the other side of the drum, a jagged tear in the metal, 2.5 inches by 2 inches, and the shock ROCKED the barrel, shaking and spilling water from the top.
For poor JFK's head to explode, that was an M-16 bullet. Those bullets ricochet after striking anything. Those .223 wounds were especially deadly, for the bullet would bounce anywhere in the torso.
One thing never mentioned is that JFK was going to change the currency in America. There used to be currency that stated on the bill "Redeemable in silver at any Federal Reserve Bank". JFK intended to get the Federal Reserve out of America.
Neat, he is assassinated Nov. 22, 1963. Five days later, there was two small paragraphs published that the currency in America would not read "Redeemable in silver at any Federal Reserve Bank." Well, friends, what happened Nov. 29, 1963?
JFK was buried...no one was looking. THAT is the reason for assassination. No matter WHO did so.
I may be incorrect with some details here and there, but nevertheless it did happen. Notice there is no discussion of change in currency at that time? Guilt by omission, isn't it? For shame, America, the poor and the workers who get their hands dirty are ruled unknowingly by mega-wealthy secret societies.
Fellow Americans, please turn off your televisions. Read the internet for some truths the parasites do not want us to know. Bind them down by the chains of the Constitution. We will win this thing because we have sheer numbers in population.

You are incorrect about the .223 lol
Bullets do WEIRD things , ive been hunting solid for 7 years straight every second night bro i did ALOT of time putting bullets into flesh , and all diff calibers
Firstly , you said the .223 was a high velocity bullet and had more gunpowder behind it lol
The CASE IS SMALLER it does NOT HAVE MORE POWDER, it has less weight and a smaller barrel dia. thus for more PRESSURE sending it , but there were higher velocity rounds even at the time. A 6.5mm carcano is plausible it would be a GREAT choice for an assassin , nice flat shooting cartridge.
The other details could be correct about the federal reserve an all that but your knowledge on firearms is BASIC bro.
Also there is NO SCIENCE for TERMINAL BALLISTICS , this was tried and tested in the early 1900's on goats , EVERY RESULT was DIFFERENT
Why ? , because theres too many variables , projectile type , angle of entry , velocity , the INDIVIDUAL muscle mass of every animal / being , the WATER CONTENT of every animal/being , theres too many things to consider to say a bullet WILL DO THIS or WILL DO THAT , bullets do WEIRD shit no matter what the caliber mate.
also you gotta consider the BONE fragments once hit also become their own secondary projectiles as it splits off.

The primary objective was to escalate the Vietnam War. Kennedy was opposed and sent Navy Divers to inspect the sinking of the ship in the Tonkin Bay incident. The divers found the sheet metals in the Bow was was 'blown out' from an internal explosion that negated the claim the ship was not attacked. Johnson wanted to send an additional 500 Thousand US Soldiers to Vietnam. After Kennedy was killed, Johnson was on Air Force 1 being sworn in and sent the order for the 500 Thousand US Troops to be deployed. People do not know or understand the roll of the US Military Industrial Complex. The shooter in an assassination is not important, what is important is all the reasons for ordering the hit and by whom.

I met James Files in Dallas on the 60th commemoration of the JFK assassination. He and his wife, Pamela Ray, had a table set up on the concrete walkway to the right of the grassy knoll, pergola area. I bought their latest book, and James Files signed it, and I had a picture taken with him, as a piece of history, not "honoring" what he had done, but honoring his/their courage in coming forward and telling the truth, as he personally knew it, about the events of 11/22/63 and after. While I believe Files to be honest and accurate, it's important to remember that an op like the JFK hit is going to be highly compartmentalized. I think it's likely there were at least 5 or 6 teams of shooters in Dealey Plaza that day. Files and Nicoletti would not know anything about the other hit teams. Files knows his piece of the pie, and recounts it very credibly. I've studied the JFK assassination since about 1975, when I was in elementary school. The version of events Files recounts aligns better than anything else with all the best information I've studied. I asked Mr. Files if he would be back again in Dallas next year on 11/22, and he replied that he did not expect to be alive then. I do highly recommend their book, "Primary Target: JFK" that has a subtitle something like, "how the Chicago Mafia and the CIA conspired to kill President Kennedy", for students of the JFK assasination.

I also met a guy on the railroad track from Australia who was there to recreate Oswald fleeing from the crime scene to the Texas Theater. And I met a group of people (tour group?) behind the stockade fence on the grassy knoll and had an interesting set of discussions with them.
In 2013 at the 50th I met Oswald's best friend from the former Soviet Union, who is now a doctor there. I view Oswald as a patsy, don't believe he fired any shots, but was somehow an FBI/CIA asset. Files explanation of Oswald's role makes total sense.
In 2013 I also randomly ran into Alex Jones and his entourage, which was comical, and I have footage from that.
Don't regret, just go next time on a Nov. 22nd when you can. Maybe have a goal or project, like the Australian guy, to dig deeper or recreate some aspect that fascinates you. I first saw the James Files 2003 prison confession about 9 years ago. These are some of his assertions that I fact-checked:
1.) THE LAMPLIGHTER MOTEL: I Googled "LAMPLIGHTER MOTEL MESQUITE TX" and found that indeed the motel exists to this very day located at 9033 E R L Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75228, apparently operating under the same name in Mesquite, east of the City of Dallas, exactly as Files said.
2.) THE FT. WORTH PANCAKE HOUSE: Files told how he drove Johnny Roselli to the Ft. Worth Pancake House where he was met by Jack Ruby who passed an envelope containing a map of the motorcade route and falsified credentials presumed to be Secret Service. He mentioned that the Pancake House was located on "University (something)" and the interviewer noted that the restaurant still exists. I Googled "FT WORTH PANCAKE HOUSE" and indeed the Ol' South Pancake House still exists located at 1509 S. University Dr., Fort Worth, TX 76107. Moreover, their website includes a page noting "Since 1962" with a photo circa Dec., 67, confirming that the Pancake House was in fact operating on 11/22/1963 exactly as Files said www.olsouthpancakehouse.com/.
3.) THE ASSASSINATION ABORT MISSION: Files said that early in the morning of 1/22/1963, Johnny Roselli (serving as the liaison between the Mafia and CIA) flew into Dallas as part of an assassination abort team. CIA pilot Tosh Plumlee has said that he indeed flew a abort team into Dallas the early morning of 11/22/1963 and that Johnny Roselli (aka "Col. Rawlston") was indeed on that flight. Moreover, Plumlee has also said that he flew a team of men out of Dallas that afternoon, and that Johnny Roselli was NOT on that departing flight, exactly as Files has said, affirming that Files drove Roselli and Charles Nicoletti to a gas station near the freeway where the were met by another driver for the trip back to Chicago. Plumlee also noted that Nicoletti was not part of the arriving flight and that Nicoletti was in Dallas, as Files has noted. jfkcountercoup2.blogspot.com/2018/10/tosh-plumly-with-rosselli-in-dallas.html . Plumlee also knew where the local safe houses were located and had taken the late American conspiracist Jim Marrs on a guided tour of related JFK assassination sites and one was the alleged safe house located on the property of Oswald's rooming house at 1026 N. Beckley Ave., Dallas, TX. The house is a separate out building behind the main house and is accessible by an alley that bisects the city block unintended for vehicular traffic, which is typical of the city's layout, and the relatively secluded location is logical for a safe house. www.google.com/maps/place/1026+N+Beckley+Ave,+Dallas,+TX+75203/@32.7559082,-96.8225283,136m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x864e999d1b785c03:0xf4b8e76beb3a162d!8m2!3d32.7558221!4d-96.8225987?hl=en75203. (Plumlee has also stated that he carved his initials in that building.)
4.) OPERATION WHITE STAR: The late American conspiracist Jim Marrs has studied the James Files and had even spoken with him in person and for his part, Marrs wasn't fully convinced of Files' veracity. (Kudos to Marrs for his caution - he'd seen and met career criminals and convicts and was well-aware of their skill in lying and deception.) But even Marrs admitted that he was impressed by Files' knowledge of Operation White Star which only the most privileged insiders e.g. Col. L. Fletcher Prouty were privy to. This point can be included under the heading "How could Files have known that"?)
5.) OSWALD'S FORD: Another point to be included under the heading "How could Files have known that"? is his account of Oswald's appearance at File's motel unit driving a "blue Ford Falcon". I've read in books since forgotten that Oswald drove either a "Ford", "two-tone blue and white Ford", and more recently the account of a witness to the Gen. Walker shooting that a "blue or green Ford" (it was nighttime) was seen speeding down an alley next to the Walker residence at 4011 Turtle Creek Blvd., Dallas, TX 75219. (Sure enough, there's an alley running through the city block next to that property www.google.com/maps/place/4011+Turtle+Creek+Blvd,+Dallas,+TX+75219/@32.8181271,-96.8015856,320m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x864e9eda57b8ee3d:0xbcfe567b89c09686!8m2!3d32.8178465!4d-96.8001442?hl=en.) BTW, alternate potential JFK Chicago assassin Thomas Arthur Vallee was also noted to have driven a Ford. (I don't suppose that Fords issued by the CIA were per a contract between Ford Motor Company and the U.S. government, as the presidential limo was a Lincoln Continental manufactured by Ford.) Files is the only known person to date to specify the Falcon model.
6.) THE MARY MOORMAN PHOTO: The infamous Moorman photo en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Moorman#/media/File:Moorman_photo_of_JFK_assassination.jpg shows a view of the fatal head shot and illustrates a logical 4-point alignment with Files' alleged location behind the grassy knoll wooden fence, 8-10 feet west of its corner behind the tree in front of the fence, JFK's head, Patrolman Bobby Hargis with his motorcycle windshield that was splattered with blood and pulverized brain tissue and the "Harper" skull bone fragment found about 30 feet behind the limo's fateful location near the southerly Elm Street curb. Connect the dots and one draws an essentially straight line and Files' (or possibly another's) location works.
7.) RICHARD BOTHUN PHOTO #4: The photo showing "Umbrella Man" seated on the grassy knoll curb with the presidential motorcade having passed through Elm Street shows a man in the background walking easterly behind the wall along the Elm Street extension in front of the TSBD appearing a a dark silhouette but postured exactly as Files said that he was as he walked away - the gun case in his right hand, his left hand in his hip pocket holding a pistol, and wearing a fedora hat. Files was presented this photo and asked about the man in the walking and Files noted that it could have been him. The photo also serves to confirm that the crowd hesitated before rushing the grassy knoll, and that allowed Files to escape virtually unnoticed. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/6f/Umbrella_Man.jpg
7.) STATEVILLE PENITENTIARY WARDEN TONY GODINEZ' COMMENTS ON FILES' VERACITY: Warden Tony Godinez gives an account about his desire to catch James Files in a lie re: Files' claim that he was visited in prison by the FBI. Godinez admits that he was mistaken re: the prison logs, etc. and that Files "was telling the truth" ua-cam.com/video/-eVqne8PT4M/v-deo.html.
8.) LEE BOWERS' TESTIMONY: Railyard tower worker Lee Bowers stated that he saw two men standing 10 to 15 feet (3 to 5 m) apart near the Triple Underpass, who did not appear to know each other. One was "middle-aged, or slightly older, fairly heavy-set, in a white shirt, fairly dark trousers" and the other was "younger man, about mid-twenties, in either a plaid shirt or plaid coat or jacket", supporting File's claim that he wore a reversible poplin plaid/gray jacket to impersonate a railyard worker before the shooting and after the shooting by impersonating a businessman with a briefcase as he walked away ua-cam.com/video/k8H_DaL_tQk/v-deo.html. (Note: Bowers also saw cars with out-of-state license plates riding through the parking lot before the shooting and one with a driver holding a 2-way radio or receiver. Bowers also intimated to his church pastor that he didn't tell all that he'd seen. After his death on 08/09/1966 of a mysterious car crash, his wife revealed that "they told him to keep quiet".) ✓
9.) ZUCCARO/GLOBE AUTO WRECKERS: Speaking of the Mafia's structure of distributing various operations to different people, James Files referred to a man named Zuccaro who had the garbage business who then had it taken from him and he went into the junkyard business for a company named Globe Auto Wreckers located in Elk Grove Village, IL. A company named Global Auto Recycling remains in business today located at 31 W450 Spaulding Rd, Elgin, IL 60120, IL and the company website notes "Family Owned & Operated Since 1961" www.globalautorecyclers.com/junk-my-car/. The Chicago Tribune has an article posted online dated 08/04/1989 entitled "4 INDICTED IN CHOP SHOP PROBE" at www.chicagotribune.com/news/ct-xpm-1989-08-04-8901020174-story.html citing "Among those indicted Thursday was William Zuccaro, 38, of 347 Eagle St., Bloomingdale". The Better Business Bureau has the company's management personnel listed as Joseph R. and Rose Marie Zuccaro www.bbb.org/us/il/elgin/profile/used-car-dealers/global-auto-recycling-repair-corp-0654-88021837. Although James Files had become involved in auto theft and chop shop operations, he is not named in the article.
10.) MUD LEFT ON THE WOODEN FENCE RAIL: Aware of the light rain having fallen in Dallas on the morning of 11/22/1963 and the discovery of muddy footprints behind the wooden fence where he allegedly positioned himself to shoot President Kennedy, James Files was asked in his 2003 prison interview about that area having been muddy, and he not only replied that it was indeed muddy but that he had scraped the mud from the bottoms of his shoes up on the "country ledger" (referring to the horizontal wooden fence rail). In his interview with Mark Lane, Union Terminal car inspector and assassination witness James Leon Simmons marked the area behind the wooden fence with an X as the location where he'd heard the shot(s) fired from and stated that he'd gone to that location after the shooing and discovered muddy footprints on the ground, and mud on the wooden 2x4 railing on the fence. ua-cam.com/video/0w4sQtwWfBo/v-deo.html (BTW to his surprise, Mr. Simmons was never called as a witness by the Warren Commission.)

I'm sorry, this is the first time I've seen this "documentary".
First Red Flag that the man is a fake: he talks about an operation with Oswald delivering "semi-automatic submachine guns" in .45 caliber.
This dude is supposed to be a professional hit man and a CIA operative and gun runner and he's calling a submachine gun semiautomatic?
Second red flag? He keeps referring to the pistol he used as a Fireball.
The cartridge it used was Called a Fireball, but the pistol is called the XP-100.
That's not so bad, what's really telling is that he called the caliber a .222.
    That's a serious error.
The XP-100 in its original configuration came in .221 Fireball.
Now, later on, it came in a Benchrest cartridge, but that was in the 70s.

Just a few things to throw in here for ya. The xp100 was first developed to use the .222 Remington. It was found to have too much muzzle flash and un burned powder in its shorter barrel configuration. The .221 was simply a shortened version of the .222 less powder and lowered chamber pressure to keep barrels from going bluey without having to overly thicken. I’ve shot and converted many of these as there action is basically a single shot 700 we use to call them the poor man’s 40X which was Remingtons premium bench rest gun. There was scuttle butt back in the 60s that the CIA was using some of the originals for clandestine use. Of course we all laughed. They were easily converted back to .222 with a chamber reamer as head and magazine length were still the same. I’ve built quite a few over the years in everything from the original.221 to .222 to 6mm BR. The use of semiautomatic sub machine gun caught my attention immediately but Knoxville arms did make an open bolt semi auto Thompson knock off back in the day. The BATF later shut them down for being to easily convertible. Not sure of the time line being correct 63 seems kind of early. This guys story has more holes than Swiss cheese but one thing kinda sticks with me nonetheless is all us gun nerds back in the day called em Fireballs. It just sounded cooler.

Great question. The answer is at 36:38 . In the unedited interview, the testimony about the reversible jacket came after the question you have asked. James at first said there was no one with him and then realized his jacket trick came in handy to confuse any possible witnesses. He explains his jacket trick in this cut of the interview. It is common for someone making a get-away to change a shirt or jacket to confuse witnesses. It worked in this case. At 48:58 James describes walking away.

Kennedy made so many enemies while president, it’s difficult to weed out who was the conductor of the hit. Kennedy sacked the very powerful CIA director Allen Dulles who was crooked as the day was long (having banking interests making money off of SS controlled industries that moved their capital out of Germany before the end of WW2). Lyndon Johnson hated both Kennedy brothers and knew he’d never be president while they were alive. LBJ’s backers, big Texas oil, was threatened when Kennedy was getting ready to cut the national oil reserve in half. Kennedy supposingly was going to cut back The CIA to its origins. The Mafia felt double crossed. Even J Edgar Hoover was worried Kennedy would sack him. Let’s not forget the assistant CIA director who was in Dallas that day, George W Bush St. (What a coincidence!). Take your pick of these or many others….

LBJ hated his guts because of their elitist attitudes. Even Jackie hated his guts for screwing every slut who had a pulse.
I 100% do not support the assassination of any American president but if any president had a reason to be cautious it should have been JFK.

The last time I viewed that topic, it was about the death of Dorothy Kilgallen, a reporter (also a panellist on To Tell the Truth), somewhat similar to HOW Marilyn Monroe died, Kilgallen was a reporter, not a mistress to JFK, RFK, etc. Kilgallen was attempting to investigate the assassination. The assassination of JFK was a national tragedy with long-term consequences. Had he not been assassinated he would almost certainly have been re-elected in 1964. There would have been no expansion of the Vietnam War. He would have tried to ease tensions with the USSR, which might have prevented the huge buildup of nuclear weapons. There probably would have been no Nixon presidency, and therefore no Watergate. The distrust of government that the Vietnam War and Watergate spawned would likely not have happened, or would have been much less severe. The Kennedy presidency was a hopeful period for America. He wasn't a saint--far from it in fact--but he had a good heart. With his death a darkness came over the country that we have never really lost completely. After Kennedy only the Reagan presidency had that sort of optimism associated with it, ut with much different policies. To see what we are about to get again as president is very depressing, especially when measured against JFK. Listen to his speeches, and then listen to Trump's. The situation today is truly depressing.
