I believe those stories in Torah are true, but they are a representation of man/woman’s intimacy with sin and YHVH’s mercy if we Teshuva (repent) and turn from those sins. People have free will to do good or evil. He tells us at the end of the covenant in Exodus “I place before you life and death, choose life” death being turning from his instructions of righteousness and life by being obedient and good. I would love to have a religious conversation because the parallels are interesting for sure. You can't say disbelieving in God will send you to hell because someone else could say there is no God. BG just said the Bible was corrupted but obviously someone else could disagree with him. From an Islamic POV can he say an average non-Muslim can also go to heaven? (Muslims _can_ say not being a Muslim means going to hell) BG objected to Lil Nas X's own [Christian] family condemning homosexuality, so does that mean BG is saying parents can't even teach their own kids their respective religious or moral beliefs? I respect this man. I’m messianic so I can understand where he is coming from. I believe those stories in Torah are true, but they are a representation of man/woman’s intimacy with sin and YHVH’s mercy if we Teshuva (repent) and turn from those sins. We all do, think, and say evil things that we shouldn’t, no matter how righteous we are. David paid for it by losing his son, the act with Bathsheba didn’t go unpunished in scripture. People have free will to do good or evil.
