  • Trying to decide who should pay how much to support public education is next to impossible. It’s incredibly common for teachers to purchase materials for student use. But another way teachers supplement what their schools provide is by creating projects on sites like DonorsChoose, or sharing wishlists of items they’d like to have for their classrooms. Some folks seem to think this is a bad idea. Here’s why they’re wrong. Also, thanks so much to J (@jamadoria on Twitter) for supporting MY students by sending me items from my Amazon wishlist!
