As the “assigned” main Jonghyun said there’s no main or lead in SHINee, they sing lines to best deliver the song; and as Onew said, “roles” in SHINee have long been blurred out. And hearing their songs together and how they attack every song is just beautiful.
Indeed Jonghyun is the eternal vocal king and he deserved the lines he sang. But Onew's voice is so distinct, it didn't matter whether he had comparatively lesser lines but he is so noticeable. And if you leave line percentage of Jonghyun, then the rest of the members percentage is so neck to neck which shows all the five members are vocalists in the group. I dont know how many groups have that.
The way I still kept glancing at Jonghyun’s bar when it stopped..and got so happy when it moved again during Lock You Down. His voice will always be part of SHINee and the members. He will always be a part of them.💖
@@yasmeenzulaikha8340 They released Lock You Down in their newer album in 2018, but they recorded it with Jonghyun. It’s a song already recorded prior.. hopefully they will release more songs with him in the future.. once in a while.

i will never stop talking about how 2013 was taemin's vocal awakening, you can clearly see that in misconceptions era he starts being treated as an actual vocalist (and a really good one by the way) and starts his vocal prime on everybody. its cool to see when their sound brand changes and how this affects their distribution of lines oh, and i also feel a sense of pride seeing how their songs keeps getting better til the end. they are the absolute bestest ever

Onew x Jonghyun is the perfect vocal combo that ever existed, the sun and the moon 🥲 all SHINee five vocals are one of the best vocal harmonies I’ve ever known, they’re born to sing together! Key’s consistency OMG, that man is literally born to shine (if you know what I mean 😏), I really like his professionalism he is one of the most inspiring person I’ve ever known. Taemin’s improvement is real, I love it when people are praising not only his talent but also his hard work and will to improve. So is Minho, when he said he kept practicing even when in military so he will keep improving, I don’t know I can love that man even more. (P.S. to the people who appreciate Minho’s singing and Onew’s dancing : I love you and I wanna be your friend ❤)

Onew is the foundation and the base of SHINee sound. Jonghyun is the one that makes the song more stylish and standouts. And the others three makes the song becomes complete,more colourful and that makes each one of them are important. Everyone play an important role to make the song sound exclusive only for SHINee

I mean, we all know jonghyun is the main vocal of the group. the gap between him and the rest is huge. He really was/is the voice of shinee.
