Maybe the mother planned the attack to teach Devin a lesson - she's asking who will gain from the attack? She definitely will benefit by separating Aslan and Devin, or keeping Aslan from moving away from the farm thereby she can control him, Devin and their marriage. Please don't let Ekram/ Eco die!
I understand she loves him and thought she could marry him and stay out of the family affairs, but now she is in it all. I think she believed him when he said he was a businessman. He may want to be that but I don’t think he can anymore. Because of this attack and his uncle’s constant pressure I think he will cross the line. What does she do now? She loves him but she doesn’t want a mafia life. What bothers me and from a trailer I saw it bothers her too , is they just got married and this attack happens- she is his wife but he walks right past her at the hospital and hugs his mother and asks if she is okay. He doesn’t hug his wife who is in shock from this attack and ask if she is okay. He should be worried about his wife who has not been around gun shots. Going to his mother shows he thinks of her first not his wife. Big red flag. His wife should always come first. From the first episodes he always put his mother in her place and said Devin was more important to him. But this next episode shows him go to his mother. I hope Devin (I hope I have her name right) calls him out on this. 😞
It's such a well-written drama (and amazing actors) and I look forward to see how it develops (and cross my fingers it isn't cancelled like so many other good series in Turkey!) - but I agree with you. Aslans relationship with his mother is love-hate and he has not really freed himself from his mom, even though he is a grown man. I think Aslan and Devin got married very fast, in a rush of passion and finding another person who understands their black hole (=their mutual troubled family backgrounds), but now they will realize that they are also very different people with different set of values and they will have a hard time. Devin is a smart girl and will definitely need her psychology-skills with this guy, but she is also driven by her emotions and rebellious attitude. I think she hoped she could change Aslan and in that way save herself as well, and that is a project doomed to fail. Aslan needs to grow as person and find his own way. But I will look forward to every episode! (and hoping I can find it with subtitles).
Sono troppo poche le puntate x andare tutto liscio, nn ci sarebbe mordente Aslan anche tra lui e sua moglie ci sarà da combattere x adesso il padre di Devin nn è riuscito a vendere la sua proprietà e la mamma di lei può rimanere ancora nella sua casa, Devin e la suocera litigano e Aslan le scopre vedremo cosa succederà anche al Volta ha preso il posto una nuova cantante molto bella, speriamo che Aslan se litiga con la moglie nn riprenderà con i soliti vizi e la tradirà😂
