I'm thinking the same thing. My hair is shoulder length and hers is down her back. I'm natural too but I do cornrows and wigs still squeeze my head and sit back from my hairline!! I guess maybe I have a big head and the thick hair don't mix for small short wigs. 😂

After you pin them down put on a secure/tight wig cap in the form of a net/mesh (cause it has holes) then push the pins out through the holes cause they might peep through the wig especially if it's a really short pixie cut wig like mine ❤
Finally! someone with thick-long 4c hair, now I know it is possible. I can braid, however, cornrowing my hair has always been a struggle for me because I always experienced breakage and tangles. I did not want to apply heat because it would be counterproductive to the health of my hair. This is a fantastic way to minimize damage and time. I could never really grow my hair long enough because of the damaging braiding process. I believe my hair will grow and become more healthier with this method. Thank you for this video!

What an amazing hair texture to have! I can't think of anything in nature that resembles it, it's so versatile. Please don't hit me but I'm dying to know if it gets miserably hot under the wig with all that hair or does your hair texture allow for better temperature control?
SOME wigs definitely can get hot, but the short one in this video is for sure a comfortable choice. It's a breathable wig, and the hair isn't heavy because there isn't much of it on the wig!
nappyheadedjojoba thank you, the fact there's no "alien bump" at the top back of your head is the most impressive part, I could never tell this wasn't your hair. that's why I wondered if your own hair underneath was comfortable, because I can't wear a wig even for an hour, although maybe that was the wig quality, who knows . I just find it fascinating that your hair went from all that length and volume to such a compact 'do.

Watched this just to get a glimpse of that long , beautiful hair loose and free! It looks so dark, rich and moisturized. There are little diamond bits of sheen that sparkle and glint from the light when you move that lovely hair.

I have thick hair and do not know how to cornrow. I always end up paying someone to do a quick, loose (I am extremely tender headed so I don't do any kind of "tight") braid down. You are a life saver

I love this! This is also how I wear my waist length hair underneath my units. I crisscross and tuck my two braids to get an even more flat look.
It really works! I didn't do the best job tucking my braids here, but it's an effective method.
