Kind of a match made in heaven given how both are excellent psychological masterpieces. I personally feel like anyone who enjoyed Lain may or may not get out of kick out of Ergo Proxy, EP deserves love and attention just as much as Lain gets.
not sure how nobody else has mentioned it yet but the vocals are on a totally different key to the instrumental so it sounds out of tune :( i see the vision tho
I use UVR to separate vocals from instruments, Applio RVC to apply AI vocal filter, and Audacity (with plugins), Audiomass, and Bandlab (recently) for editing, effects, and mixing
@@realdosed Tysm for the quick reply. I am planning on creating my own Lain cover projects but I am having a hell of a time getting these algorithms to work properly. I have used a couple different variations of RVC to no avail. I think where I am falling short is my confusion on using the already trained model you linked in the descriptions and trying to plug-and-play the .index + model with the these algorithms, rather than training a voice from the ground up. Once you have the voice model there’s no need to continue training other than to improve it, right? I have yet to try out Applio RVC, hopefully I have some better luck with that!
Only years later do we understand what Lain was trying to tell us.

Beautifully done.
Ergo Proxy + Lain = パーフェクト
This one a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one 🗣🗣

Tbh I can barely notice it when I'm not focusing but if you do focus yeah it does sound slightly out of tune but it's pretty good nonetheless

Alright how about making Lain sing the Django theme intro?
I have a question, what software did you use to cover the song?
