So far this playoffs, after the 31 to 7 beat down the Bronco received, it is clear the 3 losing teams were nowhere close to being as good as the Bengals. Three games played and three blowouts. No way the Bengals get blown out by any of the three winning teams. Change the playoff seeding. They already changed the overtime rules for the Bills. Change the playoff seeding for the Bengals.
Burrow is elite, unfortunately the things around him aren't elite. We've got one of the worst front offices and owners in the NFL. The fewest scouting department in the NFL. A medicore coach and coaching staff. Its going to be hard to win a Superbowl with this organization. Other teams have elite QBs too and they've got elite coaches and elite fromt offices behind them. Joe Burrow is a special QB and has everything needed to be a generational QB but is being held back by the situation around him. I wish mike brown would sell the team, even if that means the bengals leave this city. Atleast we'd have a better chance to see Burrow win some rings
Problem with the Bengals is that if your defense sucks like it has the past 2 years then you will lose games despite your offense throwing up 30 points per game like this year. Just because Zac can call plays for Burrow doesnt make him a good head coach. Maybe he's an OC but really he's a below average head coach. A good head coach would not need wholesale turnover of the coaching staff. Zac still hasnt figured out after 5 years how to protect Burrow or run the ball effectively as a complement to the pass game. Thats a problem. Taylor reminds me of Mike Martz when he took over the Rams after they won the super bowl. he didnt like the run even though he had Marshall Faulk which cost the rams a chance to win a super bowl. He did not have good players for the offensive line which got Kurt Warner hurt and eventually he left the Rams. Martz was an offensive genius to a degree but he was a terrible head coach.
Mike Vick could throw it a mile while looking like he's just tossing it ten yards. He's the most effortless looking thrower I've ever seen.

Bengals finished 9-8. I think they are better than some playoff teams but the lowest seed was 10-7 entering the playoffs
