Great video! Thank you so much! Could you please record video for reimburse an employee with petty cash quickbooks desktop. Cause I understand on your example, but if there is check need write to the employee for daily expenditures. In this case we will write check by “write check” or by bill and than pay bill? Thank you!

Full foundation? I’ve been looking your last 4 hours videos. And like I understood I should write checks like in your example with Verizon vendor, by payee choose employee name. But my company did one time deposit on petty cash account and then do reimburse by bill too employee and pay the bill. I’m not sure if it’s correct. Cause petty cash account never decrease. Thank you 🙏
Hello! I do the accounting for a Sub-Contractor and sometimes he makes withdrawals from the bank to pay for labor. How do I record those transactions on QB. Thank you.
Thank you for asking All contractor and subcontractor topics are in this video here. And i'm sure if you take the time to watch it , it will be clear what You need to do ua-cam.com/video/cSVTlP7zGso/v-deo.html Watch it in proper order and you We'll have everything you need When you're done i'm still here if you have a question Mark
I loved this video. It helped me with setting up a new bank account without having to pay my accountant to do it. My biggest frustration now with QB is their customer service which is absolutely horrible. The trainees that they put on the phone to answer questions don't know what they are doing. It takes an hour to try to answer a question. Anyway, I have a question for you...Suddenly QB won't allow me to email invoices directly. I have to download as a PDF and send from my desk top. When I try sending one directly the customer just gets a link to pay by credit card without even getting to see the invoice. Most of my customers pay by check. It would be nice to be able to email invoices again. Any thoughts??
Thank you for the complements I would check the customer centert to see if the email addresses of customers are still there. Secondly, I would check the preferences window, check all the settings in the "send forms" category. Read ythe help and adjust the settings as needed. If that does not work, then you have a tech support issue with your software or your computer. Please let me know. -Mark
How do you record cash that came into the business that should have been deposited in the bank and assigned a category, but was put in Petty Cash to be used for Petty Cash Expenses. The Petty Cash account had been reconciled and had a zero balance.
Your question cannot be understood from the way that you wrote it Please tell me which place the cash was physically deposited to If it was physically deposited to one and you accidentally recorded it into the other than simply delete and re-record Mark
Thank you for your very clear videos! The pace at which you explain things is excellent. I have now set up my petty cash as you show. I am having a problem with my overall balance, though, and I'm wondering if petty cash is my problem. Right now my bank balance is over $4,000 and my QBO balance is -$64.53. When I run a report on my bank account in QBO filtered by amount, I can see that where I withdrew, say, $100 from an ATM and then paid $100 from petty cash shows at -$100 twice. So by inputting ATM withdrawals into petty cash as an "expense" and payment from petty cash as an "expense," am I not incorrectly doubling my expenses? Thanks for any help!
Another of your videos helped me answer my own question. I realized I was inputting petty cash from a spreadsheet and not matching the transactions with the bank feed of ATM withdrawals. I've now matched them and no longer have such a huge difference between my bank balance and my QBO balance. There is still a difference, though, so I'm off to figure that out now. Thanks again!
Thank you SO much for this simply explained issue. Loved it!
I'm happy to help you and I hope you will click like And subscribe

Please clarify

You can try to delete them 1 at a time. Any account you cannot delete, you can make "inactive"
